You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaAll minor issues: sofa was a little worn, mattress was a tad soft to my personal liking, and apartment only received sunlight for a few hours in the late morning.
Apartment is in the historic center of Tavira. Surrounded by pedestrian streets, the apartment is situated in a quiet location. Apartment was well-equipped. It included everything we needed and everything worked well (i.e., wifi, washing machine, iron, a/c + heating, TV). Carlos was extremely helpful when we arrived. He brought us to the apartment and showed us everything in the apartment. He was helpful when we had a few questions about the apartment during our 9-day stay. Carlos is very gracious, helped us locate on-street parking near the apartment, and was always willing to assist with our questions. ?He is a model host.

The location was perfect, sitting in one of the nicest lanes in Tavira. It was very close to everything in central Tavira but was also fairly quiet at night. The host Marcos was superb throughout and even provided snacks and wine from his restaurant when our flight was delayed and we did not arrive until well after 10pm. He also allowed us to stay in the apartment until our evening flight. The apartment is very clean and comfortable, all you need in a holiday let. You must try the hosts restaurant Zica da Bica just next door, food is outstanding.

Irelandwhilst I would love to stay here every time I am in TAVIRA , the lack of outdoor space (it only has a tiny Juliet balcony from the kitchen where a chair doesn’t fit ) dictates that I would only stay there in the winter months - when the weather is nice you have to leave to sit in a restaurant or coffee shop to avail of the beautiful sun. I’d like to have the option to have morning /afternoon coffee at the apartment without the pressure of always being outside in the cafes bars and restaurants.
