Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The early morning desk manager was abrupt when dealing with us when we arrived as well as when we are leaving. All other staff were helpful and nice.
Location is excellent, near buses and subway. Good breakfast.

construction and ambulances outside that was very noisy. one staff member was cranky but it seemed like the phone wifi or something was not working.

The bath tub. When using the shower, the water went everywhere under the tub, as the decking on the tub is not sealed. The tub is not friendly for people with mobility issues, as the height of the tub makes it difficult to step in and out of it.
Convenient location, helpfulness of the staff (for us Anna was most helpful) and the breakfast bufffet.

At 7:30 am, at all three breakfasts, the hot food was not even Luke warm. Very disappointing. Otherwise everything met expectation.
The desk staff, the breakfast staff were all friendly, helpful and terrific.

Since it met all our requirements, we did not find anything that was missing for us. In general, there is always some margin to improve but it was worth our money.
It was a buffet breakfast with varieties of items (both vegetarians and non-vegetarians), juices , Capuchino etc. Location was great. It was a big room with nice tables and chair and a very modern decor.

Breakfast selection was limited and breakfast area felt cramped. We even had to wait a bit as all the seats were occupied when we arrived. Food quality was adequate, but nothing special.
The room was quite spacious, clean and everything was in good condition. There was ample space to store luggage and personal items. Bed was sizeable and comfortable. There was a kettle as well as a coffee machine in the room.

The hairdryer is a bit old, it could you a little refresh, also the furniture, but it is not disturbing at all

I selected a room with a city view. I was provided a room with no view at all. When I questioned about it, staff said it depends on availability. I booked this hotel in December to travel in March, there was enough time to get us a better room.

The room was a bit on the small size and the view into an empty courtyard was not great.
The hotel was in an excellent location, on a quiet street and a 2 minute walk to the Metro. The breakfast buffet was very good. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room faced a construction site.
Great location and great breakfast. They were steps from the Metro. They even had urmbrellas to lian out when it rained.

The column in our room was a bit intrusive but realise the building is old so not the end of the world. The breakfast area could do with being twice the size. Otherwise no complaints.
The location to the Metro was fantastic. The lift was very quick to get us up and down, great views over the city too higher up. Staff were friendly and always willing to help.

The pillows were like sleeping on rolling balloons. A kettle in the room would be ideal.I haven't been in a room that didn't have a coffee/tea service. However, having the availability to bring a caraf of hot water to the room was acceptable.
I enjoyed the location as it was a 7 minute walk to the Hop on Hop off bus hub. The room was small but the bed was comfortable, except for the pillows. The view was an enclosed roof top, not a view of the city. That would have been fine for one night but I was there for five. I figured that's what you get for not booking directly with the hotel. I will book directly with them for next time in March. The staff were exceptional and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good.
