Hard to find entrance to hotel. We found the road off the square but couldn’t find entrance to hotel so had to ring them. A lady came out and helped us where to park.

Very comfortable hotel, friendly staff. Great location right on the main square. Parking available. Good breakfast.

I was looking for the entrance at the square as designated by Google. A sign indicating that it is at the back would be helpful.

I had a wonderful experience staying in the hotel Toural. The overall sense of the historical building and the view of the square is pretty cool. The stuff was superb! The receptionist assisted us in applying for lost luggage, and the waiter in the breakfast area was super attentive! The continental breakfast was of high quality. Freshly squized juice, cakes, and omelette were welcomed compared to a low quality buffet. The room was spacious, and the mattress of high quality allowed a good night sleep.

Perfectly located hotel with view of the main Guimaraes square. The room was very spacious and modern. The breakfast was just incredible for the service and the selection of products that were offered including fresh Portuguese pastries. They have 4 parking slots in front of the hotel that can be used for free by customers.

My room was however too noisy during the second night. Noise seemed to come from the kitchen or the galley - a point to be corrected.

Location could not be better. Parking of our car was handled by the hotel - great!I guess we did not honor enough the breakfast. Fantastic - the waiter remembered our preferences from one day to the next.

This hotel is delightfully-situated in the old town. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The wifi was good. Breakfast was included and it was excellent, being freshly-cooked with a good choice of food. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We returned to this hotel as we stayed there some years ago and remembered it fondly. It didn't disappoint second time round.. It is very comfortable and has a very peaceful, calm atmosphere. The staff are delightful and can't do enough to make your stay memorable. It is well located for a short walk into the town for many restaurants as they do not have a restaurant but they do provide an excellent breakfast.

The way breakfast is organized makes the breakfast procedure slow and of low capacity. One morning we were seated right upon arrival to the breakfast area, whereas the other morning we had to wait for 10-15 minutes for a table to vacate. Food is vey good, but the choice is limilited to eggs/ham/cheese (any way you like it) and a desert.

Excellent location - very central, at the edge of the old city. Quiet, nice, safe, romantic.

Room was small. Parking in street is limited on spaces reserved for hotel but it is free.

Located right in center of town, you can walk to all major tourist attraction. Lots of restaurants and bars, specially around the Sè cathedral, one minute walk behind the hotel. We had a 4 beds room which was tight. Good bathroom. Good beds and pillows. Good elevator. Good breakfast.

The hotel was a wonderful location steps from the cathedral: charming with stone walls, dark wood ceiling beams and a balcony. And super quiet and comfortable- definitely stay here! No parking on the foot- traffic- only street but it was an easy walk.

An amazing location with the entrance tucked away in the old town. The view of the square and sound of the bells from the Basilica were amazing ( don't worry they stop between 8pm and 8am). The hotel is beautiful with a serene calming feel and we had the best breakfast of our entire trip. Secure parking for our motorcycle at the entrance, covered by cctv.

The hotel is in the centre of Guimaraes and in a historical building. The room is spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The price is reasonable. Staff are helpful. I can feel everyone of them is trying to do their best. The staff will explain the attractions with a paper map (although at the end I still google I still appreciate his willingness to help). The breakfast is served not in a buffet style (so I have been asked many questions to make decision/choices in the early morning:)).

Rooms are a bit dated and furniture is a little run down. Parking is very tricky. They have a few spaces, however these were full when we arrived. We went inside to check in, and got a ticket in the few minutes we were away. There is no signage about where you need to pay, but there are inspectors stationed at every parking area who dart in and ticket you as soon as you walk away. There is a big parking station only a few minutes walk away. Park there, it's only a few euro per day.

Absolutely amazing location. The staff were incredible, especially the breakfast team. Wonderful and efficient. Breakfast was enormous! Rooms are huge. I would definitely stay here again. Great value for money.

Beautiful hotel, the best location! Reception staff very welcoming and supe-helpful in location a safe parking place for my motorcycle. Lovely bar, fab breakfast. Will definitely return!
