During the winter period , don’t leave open bags of food because the ants will come ! There was no telephone in the room but this was because a problem with the cable which is understandable.

Very nice and cute interior! I went for my birthday and had a lovely stay , the staff is very friendly and welcoming! I arrived very late and they called me to confirm of my arrival and gave instructions. The bathroom is big with nice Portuguese tiles. Very comfortable bed, the breakfast and garden area is lovely if you go in summer definitely will enjoy it more .Delicious breakfast with a lot of options. It is in a good location walking distance to the lions plaza.

Staff were so helpful, the gardens are beautiful, rooms are spacious (boutique hotel size), rain showers, delicious breakfast, very quiet. I felt very safe. They do have two cats and as I am allergic, I told the staff ahead of time who assured me no cats would be in my room and they brought it up again at check-in and I had no issues. The room was clean, the cats were adorable and I am very glad I didn’t let that prevent me from booking.

No free parking spot, but paid parking very close by. In the rooms on the street side, you can hear cars and trucks in the street, but the noise is not too bad.

Great location, many important buildings within 15 min walking distance. Very friendly staff, top hospitality. Good breakfast. Free wifi.

The place is charming, with a mix of modern architecture and a cozy feeling of being at home. Location is exceptional; you have plenty of shops, restaurantes, and cafés, besides being a few minutes from Torre dos Clérigo, the Lello Bookshop, and other sites. The staff is charming, the breakfast is great. I was very happy to stay once moer at Pensão Favorita.

I really enjoyed my stay at Pensao Favorita! The garden is such a romantic and quiet place - especially in contrast to the vibrant city! The breakfast was lovely, prepared with so much love. In generals, one could feel the love and passion of the place. I felt super welcomed and had (despite the construction site which only disturbed the quietness during the day) a wonderful stay in Porto!

Excellent property in an excellent location close to the city centre. The room was clean and had a wonderful view in a cosy garden. The staff were always very polite and helpful and with a big smile on their faces! Highly recommended and I will definitely select it again if I return to Porto!

On arrival we were a little concerned about the location, which was rather shabby and rundown- but when the door was opened by a welcoming Ema and we went inside, it was a total contrast to the outside appearance and we knew it was going to be a great place to stay.

Outstanding breakfast and served by the wonderful Fatima who looked after us so well. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The location was perfect. We would not hesitate to recommend Pensao Favorita.

I really liked the garden, like a hidden green gem in the middle of the city center. I liked the style of the Pensao, very tastefully decorated. And then, I really liked the people there - so kind, warm, welcoming. The breakfast was tasty! The location is great, very close to the metro, but on a flat street, easy to reach. I also discovered an amazing restaurant in the same street as the Pensao (Genuino). Very much recommended!

I found it quite noisy to sleep at night but I may have just been unlucky with the time of year with noises from the city and weather.

Such friendly staff; beautifully decorated; fantastic location; excellent breakfast and incredible value for money!

• Floor of shower looked unclassy, almost like unfinished work • Water at shower took two minutes - not seconds - to turn from cold to hot • The whole room shook when a bus passed by • Complimentary breakfast started at 8, which I found quite late (however, after knowing that I would check out early, they prepared a food pack for me to take away on my day of departure) • Stairs

• Layout and lighting made the room cozy and feel like home • Friendly staff • Good breakfast, especially the fresh juice and fruit • Right opposite to the bus stop to the airport
