All the house inside is a bit "tired", no teapot, we had a lot of troubles with heating and hot water, the staff did their best to help us, but the heater switched off many times, especially at night. Breakfast is very poor, just bread, butter and jam, however with many options of drinks.

Very good place to travel and observe Geres, the nature around is very beautiful. Place around the house is very good, it stands on the river with a "pocket" small waterfall and citrus trees on the way to the main building. Dinners in the restaurant, big portions, very tasty. Internal facilities, bath, fireplace.

We stayed at a newer, different building from the main one. It is ok since it was in the summer and the room was nice. I guess in the winter it would be a bother having to walk a bit till the main building if it is raining or cold.

Bed with plastic rustling cover. Terrible breakfast. There were only coffee, juice, jam and few slices of cheese and ham.

The hall lights would turn off while walking up the stairs making it hard to see where you were going. The bed was also very hard & quite uncomfortable.

It was affordable & suited our needs. We could open the window for fresh air. The balcony looked over a river.

the location, staff were really welcoming, first class accommodation in the annexe 200 metres away from the main building, the rooms had stunning views(mine did maybe not all) central heating was on ! the restaurant was exemplary both for quality and value for money

Fungus on selling in bathroom , not having bin in the room for daily use /not only in bathroom for toilet use /, place to drying your clothes /ropes in patio to hang your wet clothes/after quick washing or backing from the beach.

Breakfast was simple but tasty , good quality for this money. Restaurant at evening time amazing huge ,very tasty portions of food for great value. Best in town / we check in a few other local restaurants/ .

The location is amazing, the rooms are clean and well-equipped, the range of the breakfast is quite low, but enough.

The staff was really awkward ( to be fair I am sure that at the time we were there there were apprentices to learn a hospitality job, but if I could give them a piece of advice...find a different occupation). The beds were quite small and they had some sort of plastic cover underneath the sheets so whenever your turned around there was a swishy noise.

The rooms were clean and well equipped. There were balconies as well which is always a nice touch.

You can see that the hotel is quite old and some things are worn out. But for 1/2 night stay it's alright. Especially for that price.

The location of the hotel is very good. There is a parking which is useful during the trip to Geres. Bed was comfy and the room was clean. The breakfast was basic but enough to get some energy before the hike. The view is nice and it's a quiet area. Close to the hotel there are some restaurants.

Heating in the room and in the bathroom was "just enough", and was turn off in the morning hours. Pillows were small, very soft, inadequate for comfortable sleeping.

The property is well placed near Caldas do Geres. Its easy to reach and find a place to park your car. Adequate breakfast is included in the very attractive price. There is a good restaurant in the premises, very convenient. Staff was easy going and polite. Simple room with large TV and enough space. There was a balcony, because our room was in a corner, the balcony was big. All in all, very good for the price payed.
