The stay was really great. The staff was always nice and friendly. The room was clean, the bathroom was really nice and clean. The location was good. Breakfast was great. Overall an amazing experience. It is the perfect place to stay on your vacation. I highly recommend.

The noise of the traffic was very bad. Unfortunately there was a road diversion in place at the time so all the local traffic came past our windows. Had to shut the windows which became stuffy and air con very noisy so couldn't use this either. Hopefully this was temporary as it really spoilt the stay there.

Loved the garden, quiet and tranquil. Loved the breakfasts - very traditional, home made/grown produce - best breakfasts we've had anywhere. The staff were very helpful, the rooms clean. Made a great base to explore the Island - but a car is necessary.

The Quinta Minuvida is strategically located in the middle of the island with great facilities. Minuvida team made us feel at home and shared lovely tips what to discover around Sao Miguel. :-) We will be back when we revisit Sao Miguel.

We stayed in our room for a week and it wasn't cleaned during this time. We requested for our towels to be changed halfway through the stay and our bins to be emptied however this wasn't done.

The staff was very nice and helpful, they even put a map together of all the attractions on the island which was very helpful during our stay. The property is also STUNNING. You felt very much at home right away and able to relax in the little oasis. The two dogs and many cats also added a nice feel of homeliness.

Friendly 2 dogs and 5 cats, beautiful garden, building in old traditional style, yoga studio, kitchen and outdoor swimming pool, only 5 apartments allowing perfect relax and piece, helpful and kind staff who speaks English fluently, traditional breakfast, drinking water available all the time, good WiFi, private parking, large apartment, good location for trips around the island.

The room was rather cold and damp at the start but "normalized" after two days with heater on.

House was very cosy and is very nicely decorated. The garden simply wonderful. The owners live just next door and didnt bother to come late in the evening to help us with fireplace. Breakfast was nice, local fruits and good coffee. The administrator was super friendly and helpful!

It was the best place that we have ever stayed in. Place to heal both your body & mind. Amazing atmosphere, Rimi & Joao are lovely owners :) they were very kind and always willing to help. Their two little dogs were gems of the house! Armindo, the receptionist was very helpful and chatty. We highly reccommend attending yoga class with Rimi, delightful experience. Breakfast...omg... fresh local and delicious. Jam of guava was the best! And cheeses and juices were so good. Can't wait to come back in the future. Perfect place to spend your time

We felt like home, so welcoming personal, very precise instructions regarding arrival. Also, concept of sustainability maintaining in the hotel is very close to us. So, we enjoyed everything from comfortable room to meditation session and yoga with landlords. Additionally, cats and dogs brought us piece after days of hiking and traveling.

my pillows were a little bit to big for my taste

Great location nearby to Ponta Delgada and also with very good connections with the rest of the island. The couple who owns/runs this accomodation does this in an uniq mannier. They try to blend the confort with susteinability and we highly appreciated this! The location is yoga friendly and brings a little bit of asian culture into a portugese quinta! even I’m not practicing it gave me a good vibe! The breakfast is delicious and the whole staff is there when you need them but gives you the needed space in the rest of the time. Thanks!

Our pool-side apartment style room was perfect (the room called WISTERIA). It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It provided more than enough room for our 3-day stay. Although we did not utilize the kitchen area, it's very nice to have that option in your room. The property overall is a tranquil garden paradise. The pool is nice and clean. It's calming and relaxing. I especially loved the yoga area, which was open for free pratice. The local breakfast was fantastic, especially on sunday morning. Everything is prepared fresh daily at 8:30 am. The onsite parking area was convient. The property's location made traveling throughout the island easy. The staff and owner were especially welcoming and accomodating. Their two dogs were so cute. We would defintely stay here again. We hope to return to sao miguel island.

more then a stay, it is an unique experience to be part of Minuvida community life. it is an interaction with the natural and cultural environment of the Island. The room was spacious and clean with suitable amenities (soap, shampoo etc.) in colonial style with real wooden furniture- very authentic interiors. Friendly staff and owners - always ready to help. We felt taken care of. Hospitality, location, facilities and uniqueness of Quinta Minuvida make it perfect place to stay while exploring Sao Miguel.

It’s very close to a road, and you hear cars also in the middle of the night. If you are used to complete silence, this can be a bit annoying, even if you get used after a while

Very nice place, inside a beautiful garden. Rimi, Joao and Luis were very nice and supportive to the discovery of this marvelous island. Highly recommended.

Great choice for our honeymoon trip. We really enjoyed the stay in Quinta Minuvida! Joao and the Team are great representatives of portuguese hospitality. The place cares about sustainable tourism and nature. Breakfasts are delicious with local products. The place has a gorgeous garden, swimming pool and kitchen with a nice view were we enjoyed cooking our dinners. Comfortable place to park your car. Location in Rabo de Peixe is a perfect spot for visiting all the island and Santa Barbara beach is super close. Definately reccomend!
