It was a nice and calm hotel near the sea . They have everything a good breakfast and the area is really safe . The personal is able to speak a lot of language like italian and English and they are super nice and helpful . Whatever question you have or if you need help you can ask them and they help you. We were really happy.

The hotel is old but typical of the older properties of the same type in the area. Some refurbishment would help, however, considering the cost the hotel was very pleasant and offered a great location to access beach, shops, restaurants and via the No 500 bus into Ribeira & Gaia (city centre)

Excellent central location and 30 seconds from the beach. Extremely helpful & friendly staff, who also ensured our request for one room with a beach view and lactose free milk and yogurt were catered for. Rooms were of a good size with en suite facilities.

The only thing that we didn't like was that the glass door in the bath did not close very tightly and water was getting on the floor.

The hotel is located not in the city center, but in an area nearby the ocean in a very quiet part of the city. To get to the city center takes you about 20-30 minutes. To get to the beach takes you about 3 minutes. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything from check-in to check-out was super fast. The room is tidy, cozy and despite the fact, that the hotel is not new, the room is very well maintained. Everything works and the room is cleaned up daily. We never heard the neighbours, which is very nice. Breakfast was served every morning at 7.30 am and wasn't very diverse, but was definitely very tasty. We would also like to admit the work of Fatima, she was extremely nice and helpful to us. Thanks! And also the most important thing that I really liked in the hotel - there is a bidet in the room!

Entrance to the building smelled like mold (the hotel itself didn't). The main light in the room didn't work and the towels and bedsheets were not clean and not changed during our stay.

The location was great, close to the beach and bus stop. Breakfast was really great with a nice view of the ocean.

Lovely room with a modern bathroom. Breakfast was great. Great location, few minutes walk to lots of beaches and restaurants. Uber to the city was about 5-8euro, very cheap.

Feel home small hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. Top location in Foz do Douro, with authentic and not as touristic atmosphere compared to Porto city and beach resort Matosinhos. Fantastic sea view from the room’s balcony. Many excellent restaurants nearby (A Capoeira, Casa da Rocha, Cepa Torta, O Balcao do mercado…)

The room we had had smaller windows, more airflow in the room would have been nice but it wasnt really an issue

Small b&b with only a couple of rooms, avoided the rush of loads of tourists and the place was in a residential area so it felt more personal
