It was all good except some of the plumbing was a bit noisy and I had the bad look that the person in the upstairs room left their toilet water running alll night which was difficult to sleep through. The flush system was unusual so it might be a good idea to put a sign clarifying that people need to make sure they manually stop the flush.

Very friendly and helpful owners. They were happy to give good recommendations about where to eat etc. Room had everything that I needed and the location was convenient for shops and snacks. I thought it was far from the bus station as shown on Google maps but there is an intercity bus station by the riverside which is quite close.

No lift and lots of stairs if you have lots of luggage so request lower floor.

Great value for money budget hotel. Very friendly and helpful lady at the front desk. Just across road from bus stop if wanting to use public transport. This hotel was old-fashioned and dated but was spotlessly clean and had a comfortable bed, which was all I needed. 25 minutes walk into Praia de Rocha seafront.

The furniture would need some upgrading, however it was still very comfortable. Doesn’t have an elevator so if you have heavy bags or mobility issues it could be a bit challenging

The reception lady is super nice and helpful! The hotel is very clean and close both to the port of Portimao and the beach.

The bathroom was a bit small and some things need fixing (toilet paper hanger, toilet cover), but nothing too bad. The bed mattress was a bit curved in the center.

The staff was very kind and even if in the Booking website there was only a room with two separate beds, we got a room with a double bed. Since we arrived much before check in time, we asked to store our bags, but at the end they gave us the keys immediately. Even if the room has a retro vibe, it was very clean.

The rooms are small. my husband and I fit and we were fine but many Americans may expect more space. Location was good for us, but you did have to walk a good distance to the water.

Isabel at the desk was absolutely wonderful. She had great suggestions on restaurants, places to see, and a wonderful boat excursion to the caves that I highly recommend. My room was spacious, but the beds were a little uncomfortable. Very hard and flimsy need spread. There was also a lot of noise even with my window shut and the AC on at night. One man yelling till almost 3am. It's nothing that the owners could control. Just know the rooms are a bit dated, but for the money, it's a value.
