“Helmut could not do enough for us. Superb Breakfast and lovely room with balcony and great view down the valley towards the lake. He told us of the good restaurants and the best way to walk back up the hill from St Wolfgang to hotel. We are in our mid 70s and found this route a lot easier than the steep walk up the road. In the evening after our meal, Helmut did offer a taxi service in his golf buggy (for a small fee) back from St Wolfgang up to the Hotel. This was greatly appreciated.”

“The hotel has a great location, though it is close to the main road, which can be quite noisy in the morning. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine, but nothing special.”

“I really enjoyed my stay at Landgasthof Batzenhäusl. The owners were super kind and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing — loved the quality and quantity, it really gave me energy for my adventures in this beautiful region. Great value for the price, I can recommend and would highly recommend this stay.”

“The hotel (together with the restaurant at the ground level) is located in a very nice position on the lake waterfront, you can have breakfast outside near to the water. The room was quite good and also the breakfast was at a decent level. We had dinner one evening, we enjoyed the Austrian typical meal but the cost was really excessive.”
