“Very laidback, a home from home in a wonderful location. There were chairs for the beach, bikes for leisurely afternoon rides. Fresh water and ice machine and various goodies available from the well-stocked pantry made the stay very easy and hassle-free. Lovely, helpful staff.”

“THE BED, as well as having a unique charm, is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in - including my own at home ! We had the Roanoke room. The breakfasts were excellent. The location is an easy walk to the marina and a few restaurants. The wine and nibbles (included) in the late afternoon was a great way to meet and talk to other guests.”
“Beautiful inn, especially the outdoor space (garden and upstairs porch) in the middle of Manteo- which places you in the middle of the Outer Banks (in driving distance of both North and South ends). The owners and innkeepers are lovely and very helpful. My room was a great size with a comfortable bed, I faced the garden, which was lovely. Awesome surrounding neighborhood, right outside the inn is a dock which is a great place to watch the sunrise and sunset. Bikes are provided for guests to explore. Beverages (hot and cold) and snacks are accessible at all times from innkeeper's pantry. Well-stocked library and parlor to read- and socialize in. Great airconditioner in the rooms.”
