No shampoo or conditioner and the shower gel / soap wasn’t good and needed to buy some from a shop round the corner.

Incredible location in old town, moments away from literally everything you want to do in Brasov. Owner is very warm, honest and caring. You really feel like your looked after. Traditional building, furnished and decorated in keeping with that, adds some great charm and character to the place. Room has just about everything you need. Communal areas are great. Fantastic value for money during Easter weekend.

There was dust inside of wardrobe and on the floor. This could be improved. However, I didn't complain but this could be bothering people with allergies. Nothing else.

The apartment is in the heart of Brasov, and has everything you need for cozy accommodation. The kitchen was more than well equipped, and there were some cereals, biscuits, coffee, and tea that we could use. There was also a mini fitness center and gym available for the guests. The owner was nice and ready to answer every request. This is a place that I would choose again if I visit Brasov. Also, the bed sheets and towels were clean and we could change when we needed. To summarize: this house has many advantages, but maybe its best attribute is the location which is ideal for reaching all the famous attractions in Transylvania including skiing and hiking.

The kitchen had some breakfast and coffee&tea included. The location was perfect for these cold days. For us it was also very important to park safely, which we did. The apartment smelled very nicely. It was really quiet, although it is so central, and moreover the mattress and pillows were extremely soft and comfortable. Our sleep was reaaaaally really restful. All the staff was super polite and kind. I really loved the view to the famous hill from the kitchen.

Excellent location with the city center and countless restaurants and bars just around the corner. We got a free upgrade to a bigger apartment with everything we needed. The private parking proved to be very necessary in such a busy area.

Wish I had known to pack a smaller bag, for my heavy luggage was too much to bring all the way upstairs. But I was very fortunate, for upon arriving one of the staff carried my huge piece of luggage to the 3rd floor - without even accepting my grateful tip! - and upon departure the proprietor herself helped me bring my luggage downstairs, which I found extremely gracious of her! Mille mercis!

Kronhaus, a timeless gem in the very heart of Brasov, with a vast and tastefully appointed salon and outdoor terrace on its top floor! With its magnificent furniture, splendid sculptures, imposing chandeliers, gorgeous sofas, impressive paintings, bookshelves and piano, it is a magnificent setting for a voyage in time, with the majesty of the historic city at your doorstep! I had a tiny, spotless, lovely room, with every commodity and comfort, including direct access to a smartly equipped shared kitchen. I was greeted by friendly and very helpful staff and had the privilege to meet the very distinguished lady proprietor, whom I wholeheartedly thank for her openness and solicitude. Kronhaus offre le charme d’un vieux monde de distinction, de culture et de valeurs, avec le sens de la beauté et le privilège du somptueux. En plein coeur de la ville, l’on se sent transporté dans le temps, loin de l’effervescence touristique, et revenir dans le présent semble presque une imposition…. My sejour was simply unforgettable! A 5 star experience, I just can’t wait to visit again!

Kronhaus is tastefully furnished with antiques offering perfect spaces to read or have breakfast on the balcony overlooking the town - my room was wonderfully comfortable with a king size bed and views of the mountain - and all very clean. I liked being able to make a cup of tea throughout the day and a bowl of muesli for breakfast. The old town Centre of Brasov with a variety of restaurants - cafes and supermarkets are minutes from the door. It’s s great place to base yourself to explore Brasov - 10 minutes by taxi from the train station - and Bran Castle. I can thoroughly recommend staying here.

A wonderful place to stay, situated right in the heart of an incredible historic city with a vibrant culture. What is even more charming is that Kronhaus proudly wears and displays its heritage that matches the city, boasting an interior that will make any history or architecture buff smile. Everything, from the vintage decorum, to the exposed wooden beams and brickwork, and even arches that showcase a Gothic influence will make you feel like you've traveled back in time.

Some rooms are on upper floors which may be tricky with heavy luggage, but the view from the roof terrace as the sun rises, is worth the climb !

The host made contact before I came to stay, to ensure I had keys/access before nightfall. On arrival to meet me, the host was friendly + helpful, and all amenities within the house were offered for my comfort, incl use of the communal salon + outside terrace. I could avail of the kitchenette fridge and was invited to make myself a drink, or breakfast, see should I wish. I had an attic room, furnished with an antique bed-frame + side-table, and premium quality, cotton bed-linen. Pleasant ensuite bathroom, with towels provided.

We were on the upper floor and the bathroom was a bit small- and even as a short woman I had to be mindful of the slanted ceiling

This place has a beautiful mix of old world, vintage charm couple with unique modern touches! It was comfortable and we were in awe the whole time. We already talked about returning next time we are in town! We had a bonus of having the entire building to ourselves as we were the only reservation.

Beautiful old house with a very special atmosphere. Gabrielle is a kind friendly and knowledgable hist. Excellent location next to the old town. Our room was actually an apartment, with an equiped kitchen (with complementary tea, cereals and biscuits😊) Would love to come again soon

It was a bit of a hassle to share 1 key with 3 people and different timing at night. But not a big deal.

Nothing to complain

Loved our short trip to Brasov. Our stay at Kronhaus was perfect, location is right in the centre, property is very clean and the host very helpful. Our checkin was smooth and we felt like home. We had the suite and the apartment and both were equipped like home, ready with all the utensils. We had use the barbecue on the terrace as well, big bonus for a mountain trip. If we ever come back to Brasov, I will book again. I recommend 100%
