One has to pass through 2 door locks if they are staying on 1 and 1/2 floor section of the property. It was a bit inconvenient because doors were followed by narrow stairs and if one has heavy luggage then they may fall down.

The location of the hotel was fantastic and staff members were very polite and helpful.

As I am very sensitive for sounds, I could hear people walking in the room next door, but might not be an issue for others.

Great location (bus stop just down the road, subway 10 minute walk). You have a lot of shops and cafes to grab breakfast or lunch in the area. Nice walk to the old town (about 30 minutes). We've had a great view from the window - to the yard and a river. Room was very clean, cosy and warm.

My room was near a hallway door and I heard people walk through it late at night and too early in the morning (I am a light sleeper). Otherwise very quiet. Bed and bedframe on the wall had a slit between them and my pillow and blanket got lost in there the first night 😁.

Great location, nice homy feel, quiet, good size single room and bathroom, good size windows (daylight!) that can be opened. Sweet decore and meaningful history. Great fruits and health shots at breakfast!

Room was really cold, couldn't get heating to work. There were no outlets near the bed, I had to crawl behind the desk to reach them. Also it was strange that I was asked to pay for my stay in the morning after the 1st night (was staying for 2 nights). I was left with the feeling they didn't trust me or something, that I might leave without paying etc., though they had my card details from booking. Not pleasant.

Location is great - near the coast and scenery from the hotel entrance was nice (not from my room sadly). Room was clean, bed and bedding was nice. Staff provided electric heater after I asked for it because I was freezing in my room.

Our floor had 3 shower/toilets for all rooms on that floor, and the people in the next room had designated that 2 of them were theirs, they came out and stopped me from going into them by saying that they were using them, they'd left things in them, then I would go to use another and they'd say the same about that. Not the hotels fault, but I ended up having to use the one furthest from my room which was difficult as I have a fractured ankle, and it was extremely painful to walk so far to the last bathroom. When checking in the lady said there would be coffee and a light breakfast at 6am, but the doors were locked to the breakfast area, they stayed locked until 6.30am when we gave up waiting for someone to show up. We watched some TV in the bedroom, but after an hour it switched off by itself, and we couldn't turn it on again. There isn't 24 hour reception to fix any of the above issues. I think if there had been then maybe it wouldn't have been such an average stay, so it will be something I make sure I look for in future stays. Lovely place but I won't stay here again.

The building itself has a bit hospital feeling (as it is an old hospital). Still I would get there again.

Car parking - there were no parking spaces in the parking lot. Parked the car on the street, payd the ticket, still had a fine. frustrating.

A bit dusty around the bed. Too much light at night. If you need pitch black to sleep, you'll need a mask.

Very quiet. Walls and doors soundproofed. People had a meeting in the corridor and I didn't hear a thing. Available kitchen with plenty of kitchenware, a common fridge and a microwave. Hot water in a big shower. Perfect location for bus and ferry. Nice staff. Big room. Splendid view from the terrace in front of the hotel.

I don't want to complain, because the place is so nice, but one of my pillows had a bad smell. Like it had been used alot. Otherwise I was very happy.

My second time to stay here. I really like it. Kind of old style room, small but very clean, bathrooms also very clean. Breakfast was totally adequate and a lovely atmosphere.
