To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I really liked how comfortable the beds were, the WiFi was awesome, and there was free coffee all day long, most often with milk.

United KingdomThe booking said it would be a double bed, but we were given two singles. That was very disappointing, as the beds weren't the comfiest. However, the staff were very accommodating to our needs, and although they couldn't offer us a double room as they were booked, they gave us free breakfast for the 3 nights of our stay.
Location was good and walkable to main city. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Loved staying on a boat for a very memorable experience.

LithuaniaShared bathroom was terrible and dirty, cold and bad maintain with different hair on the shower floor for couple days (did not look that they are cleaned every day). Shower temperature cannot be controlled. Water in sinks only cold. Booked for the experience of the boat but somehow did not feel right. Won't come again and do not recommend.

SpainWe were given a different room instead of what we had booked, the new one was smaller. They told us that the others were full. The bathroom was very dirty, smelled bad and there was water on the floor. We know it’s an old boat but it could have been in better conditions.

FranceWifi primarily available in communal space; personally, I had trouble accessing it from my room. The location was great and not too far from Gamla Stan, however, it was slightly far from main areas and the public transport.
The service was excellent and the receptionist was very nice and accommodating. The rooms were very cozy and had a nice view. Was a little cold and heaters were not so powerful, but it's Stockholm - so this was as somewhat expected. There was also a nice communal space with decent wifi.

The hostel is cozy and quiet, I really enjoyed the atmosphere & being & sleeping on the boat. The place and the rooms were clean enough. The staff was helpful. I had forgotten my glasses somewhere and they helped me look. It was ok to leave my luggage for a few hours before checking in and after checking out.

PortugalThe whole experience was amazing. This was my first night on board of a boat and I would definitely repeat it. In fact when I first booked I didn't know what I had booked, but when I got there and found out it was actually a boat, I loved it even more. The bed was comfy, the showers worked well, the whole place seemed clean and maintained and the staff was kind and polite.

SwedenRoom too small and don't even think about winters there they have electrical and warming issues that's ongoing, I know that for a fact. Next month I would not expect it fixed but they keep working on it and their warmer in the room solution doesn't work so expect it be very cold, too cold. Also showers don't have heat regulator so it's like warm all the time. Because of the few simple issues I personally avoid this place, even though it's actually a pretty good place if it wasn't for those few issues. Not being able to take a hot shower can be deal breaker. Or having to use two blankets cause fuse keeps popping and heater dies.
It's a boat!! That's pretty cool. Relatively central, beautiful surroundings and view. Staff is nice, very personal since basically always the same guy in reception. And not to mention the Asian cleaner lady and coworker. All nice people, this place has the most personal touch actually, even beats the best places. But the disadvantages are some.
