Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenI would say it needs a better light in the entrance of the room. as it is quite dark it is not the best set up to use the wardrobe. apart from that everything was as expected.
The hotel is clean and comfortable, has all needed amenities and the spa and Gym are well looked after. It is very central and easy to reach by bus from the airport. Breakfast is delicious and has several options.

NetherlandsSometimes you have to order at the bar, sometimes there is service, sometimes you have to pay every drink immediately and sometimes a tab is allowed. Unclear which rule is applied at which time. Clarity is appreciated.

LatviaThe receptionist was good girl, communication was great, but she didn't pay good attention enough when I asked by showing the way how I have parked my car to avoid the trouble in the morning with a police. 👮♂️ 650 SEK - the fee. This was bit petty, because by the international traffic rules the way I parked is allowed - Sweden has different rules. Actually there were other cars who got the penalties as well. In reception they could advise to park on Swedish way and would do this.
Great location just on the central street, great for the morning hiking

FinlandDrunk people on the next room. Reception visited two times to ask them to be quiet. It was night time, when people should be sleeping. If you want to party.. rent cottage on the middle of the forest, not the hotel room where are other people around...

United StatesHotel messed up our reservation -- told us we didn't have a room booked even though we had proof of a confirmed reservation. They were able to find a room for us but they should've just gotten the reservation right in the first place. Would love more hot food options for vegetarians besides the one scrambled egg dish. Even some roasted potatoes or something would've gone a long way. Hot tub was lukewarm and no matter what we did, we couldn't actually get the jets to work, so it might need some maintenance.
Good-sized rooms and pretty comfortable beds. Shower had great pressure. Gym was pretty decent and so was the sauna/jacuzzi area. Breakfast was quite good: fresh fruits and vegetables, yogurt, chia pudding, and tasty juices. Location was really convenient to the bus and train stations, which was why we chose it. It's also on the main thoroughfare of Luleå.

NorwayShould have windows at those pretty rooms that are able to open, or better..a functioning aircondition system. Rooms was very warm. There was a fan to aid us thou, a cheap but OK emergency sollution.
Breakfast was good, not very advanced but filled my needs to what I expect of a hotel breakfast meal. Waiters were very friendly and tried all they could to assist even on small things like a deeper plate for my son every morning. The Spa in the basement was frequently used by us, two nice jaccuzies and a sauna. One of the showers did not function (the nicest one). The Spa was important for my booking personally, because I knew we would be using it often. So if you like some time to relax in such a lounge, this is the place for you. I think there should have been some kind of serving down there to maximize comfort of all guests, Im sure it would be well made money for the hotel, I know we would have bougt tons of cola and other beverages if possible. There was a water canister in the hallway thou, sadly it was almost empty every evening. We strongly reccomend the hamburger at EGO-bar, this was one of our food highlights this week at our stay. A very kind chef from Greece made it atleast two days, if you like a GOOD hamburger that tastes juicy and fresh and with bunch of home made stuff, be sure to try one! Some of the ladies working at the reception was very young, and did not seem to know alot about the city. We asked for the best place to visit a pool, but the place we got recommended was closed when we arrived after paying our parking. Parking at the hotel was very comfortable, you get to safely park your car every day at a reasonable price.

United KingdomThe temperature in our room was uncomfortably warm at night. We were unable to set the air con to a low enough temperature. When we queried this, We were provided with a fan, which did little to cool us down. The lighting was poor in the bedroom.

Sweden- There is no sign that indicates where the reception desk is. I arrived in the middle of lunch, and their restaurant Ego was jam-packed. The reception desk is very small and connects to the desk for the restaurant, so I actually came into the hotel twice (and still had to ask where the reception was). When the lunch rush had calmed, down it was very clear to see where the reception was, but a sign or arrow, or just a notice on the desk would have helped. - The coffee at breakfast was not the best. The second day it was very bitter. - The inside of the hotel is very dark. - The view from my room was a roof top and apartment blocks. There was no "courtyard" so I am assuming this was the "city view". It didn't bother me a great deal, but if a view is important to you, make sure you get a room that is a little higher (mine was on the third floor). - There was a kettle, but no coffee-making facilities. - It was a little expensive. I paid SEK 2990 for two nights (although I later saw that Booking.com had reduced this by SEK 600, but that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes).
- The hotel is very central, only a five minute walk from Luleå train station. - It is very close to supermarkets (there is a Coop next door), restaurants and a short stroll (900m) to the harbour. - I was allowed to check in when I arrived, even though it was only 12.30 (normal check in is 15.00), which I thought was excellent. - Although only providing a simple assortment, the breakfast was very fresh (they even served some of the bread buns warm). - The restaurant for breakfast was spacious and beautifully designed. - I could stay in my room after the normal check out, for a fee of SEK 150 per hour. However, I was only allowed to stay a maximum of three hours, as the cleaners needed to clean the room (which is fair enough). - The air-conditioning was set to a perfect temperature. - The bed was very high and comfortable.
