Greeceduring my stay there was construction work on the building from 07:30 am to at least 06:00 pm making it difficult for someone to rest during that hours. to be honest construction work was listed on the Booking advertise for the apartment but it would be great if the construction noise stopped at 2:30 pm

LatviaApartment missed personal attention from owner. It had almost everything like in picture but was missing some things like nice bed cover and some decors. Our conclusion was that apartment is for business and it misses cozynest feeling. For sleeping are used synthetic duvets and bed covers which made unclear feeling was it hot or cold. There is no TV or speaker. Small things but with those you can make background mood. The most disappointing was registration process - we had to submit personal ID information and selfie picture otherwise we could look for other place. There was no explanation to whom this information is provided and what is purpose.
Nice district, just next to Coop grocery shop, nice walking distance to city center or easy connection with public transport, around apartment there are parks and a lot of walking options. Despite construction works (next to building SL digs new Metro station) our stay was not disturbed. Works starts after 8:00 and as apartment is on other side then it was just a small noise. Apartment by itself had most of things which needs for staying and food preparation. There was complementary tea, coffee, sugar. Apartment was warm. Outside was +10 but heating still worked. Access information was with 3 different codes but instructions were super clear and it was easy to find everything.

SpainWe were changed to a different apartment from the one we originally booked. There wasn't a microwave, when travelling and staying for short time in places it's very useful for heating food from supermarket. It was not warm inside the apartment, we were told one day before arriving to pack wam clothes as room temperature was set automatically, as we were already travelling we couldn't pack warmer clothes, outside was -10 degrees and inside it wasnt cold but not warm, we had to sit near the heaters. Many codes to remember and long corridors. Checking in time was 16h and out 10h, I think it's not balanced. The fee to have a later check our was way too high, 600SEK, and there was no flexibility. At 10am sharp the cleaning lady was there. The behavior/security/cleaning policies seem to be bit scary and threatening, very strict, Those tiny things would have made the stay much better. However the person in contact was straightforward and was very easy to contact.
The apartment was very clean. Communication with the person in charge was fast and easy. Location but far from city centre but nice neighborhood and near supermarket.

United KingdomWe found two cigarettes on the floor (I took photos of one) which shows it was not cleaned well. The bathroom had an eggy smell of drainage. There was a small bloodstain on the sheet of one of the beds. We were not given the WiFi password despite having conversations with the host who asked me to send him a picture on email of the networks which came up on my phone, he failed to ever come back to me with the password. On top of this there were not basic things which would seem necessary, such as providing kitchen roll in the kitchen facilities.

MexicoI did not like that the hosts tells you that NOBODY except registered guests can go into the building in a threatening tone. I understand there may be insurance issues, but having a local friend for a visit should be allowed.

ItalyThe apartment itself? Extremely basic, no TV, and honestly, if they didn’t even bother to put a television, what are the chances there’s an actual noise sensor tracking guests? Sounds more like a scare tactic than a real system. Still, trying to follow the rules, I asked how to register the few friends who wanted to visit. The response? More nonsense and, unbelievably, they wanted photos of all visitors' IDs even if they weren’t staying overnight. When I asked my Swedish friends, they immediately refused, saying that this is not standard practice and could even be illegal under Swedish privacy laws (GDPR). In the end, I had to meet them at a friend’s place, completely ruining the privacy and experience I expected when booking this apartment. Another huge issue: the freezing temperature inside the apartment. The large window in the living room doesn’t seal properly, letting in cold air and making it almost as cold inside as it was outside. Before I even arrived, the host sent an email warning me that "Sweden is a cold country" and advised me to bring warm clothes. Excuse me? Clothes don’t fix poor insulation! I had to spend €70 on a portable heater just to make the space livable. When I left, I donated the heater to the school downstairs clearly, the host has no interest in providing basic warmth for guests. Final Verdict: This place is not worth it, no matter how cheap it is. The misleading rules, lack of proper facilities, the host's obsession with creating fake security concerns, and the demand for personal documents make for a stressful and uncomfortable experience. Avoid this place and book somewhere that actually delivers what it promises!
The only positives about this place were the low price and good location, considering Sweden’s generally high accommodation costs. However, everything else about my experience was incredibly disappointing. When booking through Booking.com, there was no mention of the extreme restrictions imposed by the property. Only after payment was I sent a so-called "rental agreement" filled with unreasonable rules and threats. The most absurd one? No visitors allowed unless pre-registered, something that was not stated in the listing. If this had been clear from the start, I never would have chosen this place. I specifically booked an apartment (instead of a hotel) to be able to meet with my friends living in Stockholm. To make things worse, the property enforces its "rules" through intimidation: hefty fines for unregistered guests, surveillance cameras "everywhere", and a noise sensor inside the apartment. Sounds super high-tech and secure, right? Well, in reality, there are no cameras at the entrance, in the hallways, or anywhere leading to the apartment only fake warning signs. The building’s front gate doesn’t even lock properly, meaning anyone can push it open without a code.
