Zinkensdamm is not a hostel in the hostel sense of easily meeting other travelers. There were many families and the atmosphere was very relaxed, something which can also be appreciated.

There was a lovey garden / social space to enjoy. The staff were also very friendly and the kitchen well-equipped. The rooms were comfortable and though the sanitary facilities were basic, we didn’t need anything more.

The decor is quite dated, but this really didn't affect our enjoyment of our stay. There could be a few more cereal bowls in the kitchen.

Loved our stay at the hostel. It's in a beautiful, quiet part of the city, but close enough to the centre to make it easy to enjoy the sights. Really clean, comfortable rooms with access to cooking facilities and lots of outdoor seating to enjoy eating in the gardens. We were surprised by a really good meal in the restaurant on our first night, but didn't pay for breakfasts so can't comment on them. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends thinking of visiting Stockholm.

The toilets were stinky, and the shared bathroom also wasn't the most hygienic, but they were usable.

Some of the bathrooms were smelly (not all of them), and some of the staff weren’t very friendly friendly. Most were lovely, but the unfriendly ones made us sad.

Perfect for what we needed. Good location and close to a train station. We had the little buffet breakfast and it was all that we needed. We got to do our washing there (note, only 1 washing machine).

The staff is awesome! Location is great: easily reachable by metro from the central station and within walking distance from Tantolunden. We were there in the summer, so we were able to swim and enjoy a day in the sun. We were traveling with our kid, and there were a lot of families with kids, so they had a great time at the hostel: making friends and playing in the park or in the playroom.

The shared shower facilities are manageable, however the shower curtains are thin and see through, and the two stalls with doors do not lock. Keep this in mind, If i was travelling solo i would not feel comfortable showering alone with others in the room.

Located within a beautiful park with a waterside path and mini golf. multiple grocery stores and public transport options located in walking distance.

The hostel was really well located, in the center of Stockholm and close to the subway. The personnel was really welcoming and helpful. the kitchen was also well equipped and convenient.

The only drawback is that the distance to the closest shop is little too far of a walk and there were no facilities to make tea at the room.

The hotel was located close to the city centre in beautiful surroundings, with a manageable distance to the popular attractions accessible on public transport. The room/washroom was clean, and the space was fine. We did not have any breakfast at the hotel; anyway, we thought the selection was a little overpriced. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The common kitchen was a surprise. Highly recommended.

The rooms are very small and the bunk beds are adequate for teenagers but most likely not for adults. I did find out about the "rent the sheets and towels" option beforehand from other customers' reviews (but after I had already booked the room - it is not clearly marked on booking) but this is still a bizarre practice for non-Swedes.

The room had everything needed for sleeping. The location is a bit remote from the center but the surrounding area is green and peaceful. The price was unbeatable, especially during the hockey championships. The hostel option breakfast was adequately priced.

However, they charged extra for bed sheets, which was not mentioned during booking—so bring your own or rent them. Additionally, the beds were uncomfortable.

It’s an affordable option, conveniently located near tourist attractions. The place was clean and had a common kitchen.

The only thing that was bad was that if someone is in the room above you, you will hear every step or jump in the evening, which if you have a baby can be a problem. Luckily for us, it wasn't a problem, but I said that at the reception, as I'm writing here now.

This was our first time staying in a hostel. I agree that some things work that way and for the money you won't find anything better. However, I would like to suggest that adding a mini fridge to the room would not ruin the concept. Everything else was as it was and we really enjoyed it.

The bunk beds were not as expected (small and not comfortable). When taking a shower, the bathroom was completely wet in a matter of seconds. The room looks a bit old and is really small for 4 adults (friends). The bathroom is also very small for one person inside.

The fact that they have a big hostel, with two kitchen, a restaurant and a sauna inside, nice receptionists.
