Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWe have stayed at the hotel before and thought everything really good. However this time the food was limited and ran out quickly. Time was taken to refill. Hot food was Luke warm and choice very limited. Tables took a long time to be cleaned. Staff were polite and helpful but not many of them.
Room was fine. Pools were great.

GermanyI guess it is a bit pricey, I was expecting for that price that I paid to have at least a bottle of water inside the room. I know that in Singapore you may drink water from the faucet - not just my personal preference. It is hot (not warm) and humid in Singapore, we all know that. So i was just expecting that the cooling system in the room is well-managed but its not. Ive sweat the whole night, although I ve already set the temperature to the lowest setting possible but i guess its not that functioning. ☹️ I only stayed one night because of the long lay-over, just wanted to have a good sleep and good shower before a 13hr-flight, definitely will be complaining about it should‘ve I stayed longer. Wifi was a bit slow - considering Singapore.
Definitely the 24hr reception, the employees are nice and helpful. 🤗 The room is clean! Bathroom is clean - clean towels too. Location is near the hawkers which is good. Breakfast buffet was good! - if you have an asian palate! Shuttle Service from the hotel going to the airport. 👍

SingaporeThe building looks a bit worn and undermaintained, probably because of the lack of visitors. The ground floor swimming pool area doesn't have any dust bins. The light in the restroom wasn't working. Therewas no soap in the sink, and no personnel around.
There are several types of Deluxe rooms - small or bigger. We requested for a bigger room with the double bed (same like the one on the photos on Booking.com) upon arrival, and were provided with it. The hotel personnel addressed all our needs and requests. We even extended for +1 more night, and upon check out, they allowed us to use the facilities, including the gym. The pools are very nice. Hotel itself is located in a very secluded area, away from the city buzz.

AustraliaIt needs a lot of paint to make it fresh. It is by the water so must be hard to maintain but it needs attention.
The roof top pool was lovely! By the river/ sea where there are otters. Handy for Changi Gaol museum and chapel which was excellent. There is a free airport shuttle bus that runs mornings and evenings. Loads of street food options are very close, plus Civil Service club opposite (open to public). Also an Irish pub!

SingaporeThe hallways were stuffy/musky, and needed ventilation. The hotel and rooms are somewhat dated and old already.
As Singaporeans, we wanted a staycay near changi village and Pulau Ubin for our visit. This hotel is great for walking distance to everything around. We enjoyed the rooftop pool very much for the view, and 1 for 1 beers at the rooftop bar. The gym facilities are new and many machines which we liked. I think they also gave us a free upgrade to a larger room with a bathtub and a balcony view. Special mention to Jose who went out of his way to buy us a wine opener as the hotel didn't have one (strange?). Thank you!

SingaporeIt’s a little dated but they are doing some upgrading at the meantime.
The hotel is surrounded by eateries from day and night. Great variety of cuisines and local delights. Near to seaside and easy accessible via local public transport.

United StatesLots of construction and moss/mildew clean up going on while we were there. Tried contacting the property several times to modify my reservation, but I never received a response.
Beds were clean. Free airport shuttle. Shuttle does not drop off at all terminals, so if you need to depart from a different terminal, you have to take an airport shuttle…need to allow at least 45 minutes to get from the hotel to your terminal.

AustraliaI have stayed here many times before and the outside now is getting very dilapidated. The executive lounge was closed so no dining. The free airport bus driver was rude and on my final ride to the airport, I was told we would go to Terminal 1 first(which was mine). To my disgust another couple got on and gave him cash saying ‘look after us’ so the driver went to Terminal 3 first and dropped them off. Luckily I had left early otherwise I could have missed my flight. Very unprofessional!!
The swimming pool is the best feature
