Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Australia- The laundry unfortunately takes 8 SGD to wash and 8 SGD to dry which considered to be quite pricey.
- Location was right opposite a big mall called City Square Mall with lots of restaurants and also supermarkets. The hotel is also only 1 crossing away from Farrer Park Station which was very good - We have the 2 of a kind room. It was perfect for my family and my parents. We have a common area of kitchenette but still have plenty of privacy. - The room was big. Surprisingly spacious compared to the other hotel we stayed at in Singapore. Bed and pillow were both good. Air-con was working perfectly. - Water was hot and consistent. - Kitchenette was well equipped. Stove was fast to cook. - Our door was not opening and we asked the staff to check it. They found a technician to fix it right away even though it was 10pm at night. - Very modern lobby - lots of meeting space and places to hang out with friends - There is a gym downstairs.

United KingdomIt was a bit tired in the apartment, and the kitchen area in particular didn't feel very clean. But we didn't eat in the apartment much; juhst used the fridge to store drinks and snacks, so it didn't matter too much.
The location was great, right by Farrer Park MRT stop. It was very good value for money; getting a 2 bed apartment in Singapore is usually very expensive, but this was not bad at all. Fantastic gym as well.

AustraliaThe room had tons of mould on walls and bought bleach to clean it! I also cleaned the air filter in the aircon as the room was stinky. The floor I was on was noisey and impossible to sleep past 630 a.m. or go to sleep before 11pm - Not ideal when you are competing in a sports event! Food choices are not great in the area- but plenty of choices and local cuisines (Chinese, Indian, and Middle Eastern). Because there is no housekeeping daily, it would be great to have cleaning stuff available on the floor, such as a broom, etc. as it is impossible not to not track in stuff.
The bed was extremely comfortable! I loved the shared kitchen facilities. I also really enjoyed the fact that City Square is across the street and that Farrer Park MRT was right next door. I also really liked level 4 (up until water leak) for eating and relaxing.

United KingdomI guess we were expecting a living room but it was an adjoining kitchen and table.. otherwise quite happy with our stay.
Pretty good size rooms for Singapore and there were two bedroom. Easy access and also feels quite safe as no one could get to the floors without the key card. Clean and the staff was very helpful. Very convenient, city mall just 4 min walk away and the mrt right next door. We just woke up, abd easily got breakfast. The communal area was interesting and cozy. Interesting concept.

Lyf Farrer park is a perfect stay for those who are looking for a budget stay in Singapore as Singapore hotel rates are very high in prominent locations. This hostel type apartments located in close proximity to Little India is good for two people stay maximum as rooms are very small, all necessary amenities are provided in the bathroom, a common kitchen, a sky park in the 4 th floor , Gym, washing and ironing facilities are good to have for long stays. We booked two rooms for 4 people at a price of 1 room in any 3 star hotels in the town. Location is perfect as it’s close to the MRT Farrer Park, lots of Indian veg / non veg restaurants if you love Indian food. Over all we enjoyed our stay at Lyf Farrer Park.

IsraelStaff isn't helpful, and it feels like they avoid eye contact. Rooms are tiny, "tokyo size".
Great location, just outside an MRT station and off Little India, which was very fun. Hotel gym was nicely equipped with 2 treadmills, a Smith machine, pulley machine and some free weights. Great amenities (shower gel and shampoo) were nice.

NetherlandsIf I had to say something it’s the bed, it was not very wide and hard. Noice from the hallway did wake us up multiple times.
Location close to metro was perfect. I was traveling with just my son (12) and felt safe in the area.

AustraliaIt was quite cramped and the shared space was not large enough to relax in as a family. The photos on the website did not really reflect the room.

New ZealandHousekeeping could be a bit more regular - only twice in 8 nights and we ran out of toilet paper. Some drainage issues with the shower also.
Excellent location, around the corner from MRT and across the road from a shopping mall with lots of food options. Clean, tidy rooms and good shared facilities.
