The hotel is next to the shopping centre, about a 15 mins walk to the football ground. It about 25 mins walk from the train station and centre of Celje. The hotel is old fashioned and clean the staff speak English, the breakfast was good, there is no bar.

Attracted by its "old world" baroque style as something a little odd and out of its time, and it didn't disappoint. Its location accentuates the feel.

No bar. No restaurant. Fridge wasting space in the room because it was off with nothing in it! A complimentary bottle of water would have been good. Completely hemmed in it’s not an attractive place, but, it’s great when you in. Industrial noise in the morning.

It’s a Tardis. From the outside, when you find it amongst the retail parks and industrial units, it’s a genuine surprise. Reception and receptionists were good. Spoke English and were helpful. A big guest lounge on the first floor with plenty of straight back ‘Victorian’ seating with tables and an ex corner bar and views of the warehouse roofs and solar panels. Nice to sit in because it’s spacious and quiet. My single room wasn’t big, but, was comfortable. Like student accommodation: but, clean! Single bed with good clean, white striped duvet and pillow. Bedside cabinet with, lamp. Wardrobe, ‘desk’ and chair. Tele. Carpeted. WIFI good. Toilet/shower room was a good size with good cubicle and shower. Powerful, hot water and toiletries. Good towels. Bright and shiny and clean. Unattractive views from the bedroom window. But, clean and quiet enough amidst the commercial mayhem. Breakfast was plentiful. Air conditioning. ‘Old Masters’ paintings in big gilt frames. Big gold mirrors. All a bit dated, but. In its day it probably was grand, but. It’s good enough.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. It was located near to all attractions in Celje and had a good car park for guests. We were a bit shocked when we arrived because the hotel is on the edge of an industrial estate, but this did not hamper our stay.

The breakfast was good, fresh fruits aplenty. For those interested in shopping, the hotel is right across the street from citycenter, an indoor mall. Not to be confused with the center of the city, the old town!

I was given a room on the top floor. The room was OK, but the temperature was not OK. It was too cold in the room, colder than in the room of my friends one floor below.

The stay was very good. Quite a large number of dishes allowing to compose breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff.
