Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We’re currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil, and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Isolated location (e.g it’s very far from Bled central station), not that great for solo travellers looking to socialise, but I still enjoyed my stay.
Close to the lake, friendly and helpful host.

Another outdoor table/bench would be great as the current one can get taken up by other guests. Otherwise couldn't fault it.
Great location only 10 mins from the lake away from the tourists. All the rooms were clean, beds comfy, kitchen well-stocked, and the outside seating was appreciated. The owners are very friendly and always helpful. Would happily stay again.

We had some slightly noisy guests staying in one of the rooms below us but aside from that I cannot fault this hostel
Amazinf communication greeted by a lovely staff member who showed us around, located in such an ideal spot 10mins walk from the beach part of lake bled but you feel like your in a secluded countryside spot. Really good value for money

The room was great, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen were nice and clean. It was also possible to sit on chairs outside on the lawn. Good location, around 10 min walk to the lake, and the owner and staff were very nice. I highly recommend!

The rooms got very warm at evenings and was slightly uncomfortable to sleep with the heat due to no air conditioning.

I would suggest a drying line for guest swimwear after a day at the lake!
We stayed in a four-bed room downstairs. There is also a kitchen, bathroom and extra separate toilet downstairs (similar arrangement upstairs). The bedroom was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds, ample storage space, lights for each bed and a balcony with a table and couple of chairs. We used the kitchen which was clean and had what we needed. The house is just outside Bled Mlino - second stop if you are taking the bus from Lesce Bled, don't get off at the first (Bled Union). It is in a lovely setting among fields and woodland, with beautiful views of the mountains. The host was very communicative and informative about check-in, transport options etc.

Gorgeous hostel, tucked away from the noise of Bled. Lovely welcome and great facilities. It was so peaceful but just a short walk to the side of the lake. I would happily return.

Narrow access roads to the house. Kitchen cabinet doors defective and need to be repaired.
Location is good, not far from the lake (walking distance). Ample parking place if you come by car.

Really clean and fresh rooms, including the shared rooms such as the kitchen and bathroom. The location is a little away from downtown Bled which suited us fine because it was quiet, peaceful and in a rural setting. Even though, it's still only 10 minutes walk from all the facilities the Lake has to offer and 10 minutes walk from a good restaurant and a good supermarket.

The host was really nice and accommodating, he let us borrow tripod and we got some really nice pictures on lake bled. Also let us leave our bags a bit after check-out which really helped with our plans for that day. The location is close to the lake and got to do many things there.

Extremely clean and spacious bathrooms. Warm and comfortable bedrooms. Everything quiet and tidy. Even had a desk to work at with great wifi. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Easy parking too and walking distance from Bled.

Very polite and helpful staff, pleasantly clean and well-kept rooms. We did not realize that the kitchen and bathrooms are shared with other guests but this did not bother us at all. Will likely visit again

Everything was likable..30 min to the main bus station but all the reasons to walk next to lake

Only suggestion would be to replace the pillows as they were a bit lumpy. Otherwise no other issues.
Fantastic location, easy walking distance to the lake and the main town center, whilst being amongst nature. Lovely, very accommodating and helpful host. Clean, tidy, well heated and with all appropriate amenities. Highly recommend!
