Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe property is lovely and looks just like the pictures! It was such an incredible experience to have the beach just steps away and so private. Alveda makes a great dinner and is so helpful with any issues. She went above and beyond! We ate at the restaurant just a short walk away several times and really enjoyed it (that restaurant takes credit cards but most don’t). We recommend renting a car early on in your planning because we ended up only being able to get a car for half our stay and it worked out fine, but we should’ve planned that sooner. I recommend this property if you want a private, relaxing vacation on a gorgeous beach.

United StatesIf the place was full, a bit more privacy between the screened in porches would be nice. Other than that the place, while a bit rustic, is absolutely wonderful.
If you are looking for a quiet beachfront vacation, this is one of the best! The rooms are just steps away from a beautiful beach that goes on for miles, and there are plenty of chairs, loungers, hammocks, etc. to settle into for a good read, a nap, or just to look at the ocean or the stars. Alveda, the property manager, is very helpful and cooked us a lovely dinner our first night, and then was always immediately available via WhatsApp to answer questions, arrange for taxis, make dinner recommendations, etc. The room was very spacious with a decent size king bedroom, a living area with a small kitchen, sofa, and dining table, and best of all, a huge screened in porch with adirondack chairs, a table and chairs, bikes for exploring, and wonderful breezes through the screens. The wind blew pretty strong most days of our trip, so we did not swim too much, but we did get into the water a couple of days and it is very sandy and shallow enough to enjoy even if you are not a confident swimmer. North Caicos island is very quiet, with very little tourist infrastructure, but there was a nice beach bar, the Barracuda, just 200 yards down the beach with excellent cocktails and good food, and a small grocery store with the basics a short walk away. We rented a car for 1 day and went to Middle Caicos Island to see Mudjin Beach (spectacular), and we would probably rent a car for our entire stay next time so we can get to restaurants and grocery stores more easily. We walked 25 minutes over to a newer restaurant Cilantro's, and had two absolutely fabulous meals - Chef Trap is definitely trying to provide a wider variety of dishes than the standard fare (conch, grouper, chicken, etc.) found everywhere else. We went the first week of January, and had the whole place to ourselves 5 out of 6 nights, and saw maybe 10 people per day walking by on the beach, so if privacy and quiet is what you desire, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!!

United StatesAbsolutely nothing!
This property is right on a stunning, stretch of pristine beach with beautiful driftwood and rock formations. Gorgeous water- great for swimming and snorkeling. It has four connected "villas" with screened in porches, living room, bedroom and up to date fully equipped kitchens. All the amenities of home away from home.

United StatesJust a screen between units on screened in porches, so no privacy
Would be difficult to beat location (provided you like solitude). Beach front with very short walk down the beach to beach bar/restaurant (so are away from the people and noise that some from that)

United StatesThere is nothing that I didn't like.
The beach and total seclusion. It felt like you were on your own private island!

United StatesWe had an absolutely wonderful stay and hope to return soon! The suite was spacious, impeccably clean, and the kitchen was very well stocked. And the beach was just incredible. We also had a delicious and generously sized dinner cooked by Alveda. As others have mentioned, North Caicos is quite a bit more remote than Provo -- we loved it (it felt like we had our own private beach!), but it's worth noting that there isn't much in the way of dining or night life, and we would highly recommend stocking up on groceries in Provo beforehand. You'll also need to take a ferry to get to the island, so we would recommend checking the ferry schedule ahead of time to make sure that it will work with your flight time.
