The pool!!!

Sometimes people come in to pool from beach area who aren’t guests at property. Take up loungers but more importantly can be a security issue. Not visible to reception or restaurant if busy. Ma6be a sign to deter would be helpful.

Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Daily cleaning. Beautiful large pool with plenty of loungers. Great breakfast.

-breakfast pretty low quality and not many options -not all staff friendly -can't pay by card unless certain amount, otherwise they charge a fee of 5% -can't pay by Qr code

Despite being in the family suite with a kitchenette, there were no kitchen utensils or plates and glasses.

The bathroom and toilet were near the door of the room, but both had glass doors, without any privacy. Anyone opening the main door of the room could see straight into the shower and toilet. The room was on the first floor, and there was no elevator.

Swimming pool was amazing - very big, beach very close by. Room was comfortable.

I believe the resort has come into age and requires renovation; I can only comment on the many building area (not new section) high rise to the right. Pool area showers need attention and stairways should be repaired properly. There is a new resort being built just behind and management should make sure that they do not work during the night! We did mention this concern during our stay.

The resort was very nice, gardens beautiful as well as the pool (main building). We had a very spacious deluxe two bedroom accommodation. The beach was nice to walk and sunsets were great. Breakfast buffet was very good.

The stuff was a little bit cranky, and the breakfast was full of Flys on the food. The room was OK, but the switches of the lights were unclear, and it was a little bit hustle to find the right switches.

The property is in need of repair, the pool, the rooms, the property it all felt tired. Missing tiles in the pool, etc. It appears to be 2 hotels they combined into one and both are oddly staffed / set up. The foyer of one is empty, the other has an obvious spot for a lounge / bar that is packed with boxes and not used. Overall felt like the property was being let go.

Gorgeous location. 2 pools, which are super valuable during the hot day as both get different shade from the sun over the course of the day.

No pancakes or French toast option for breakfast. Scooter rent expensive and only big scooters as option Room choices near smaller pool not as nice as the ones near the big pool and restaurant

I didn’t like that at check out I was accused that I have taken slippers from room. I told them that I walked with them to the beach, they got wet, and threw them out, coming to the room barefoot. Then I used another pair I had in the room. Those were fabric slippers that I always deposit in a trash bin after I use them in every hotel. In this hotel they are considered a value and I was forced to pay 200 baht. Well, this just did it… never again in Maehaad beach hotel! Oh, zillions of mosquitoes, so buy sprays and plug ins as the hotel doesn’t provide with any. Pool view rooms most of the day are in direct sunlight, so you have to stay indoors

The room was quite big and very comfortable. Pool was huge and clean. The beach was very beautiful and just a few minutes away from the room. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly.

The housekeeping and cleaning were not excellent, and the gym was horrible. The breakfast area could use a revamp.

It is a homey hotel, very Thailand-style, not too flashy. Very pleasant.

Disliked · The reception staff is not very friendly, they couldn't provide us with the rooms we expected, and they were quick not to make an effort, the hotel was busy, and they made us feel unimportant, including the manager who had a bad attitude and made us wait 1.5h for a meeting to discuss. We had to complain about booking.com and magically solutions came our way. Ultimately, we got upgraded, and our family had a great time. The restaurant is very average; there should be a little more thought put into the food choice and ambience. Also, there are families opposite who could benefit from business from the hotel, like we needed a taxi and the hotel only could provide one an hour later, however opposite I found one straightaway and much cheaper, why not support your neighbours and do business together? There is no beach directly opposite the hotel, but a short walk away; we didn't mind this, but if it is something you are looking for, beware. You have a view of the sea from the restaurant and the fishermen's boats. Also, the beach is very busy; a lot of people come for the day, but it is not terribly disruptive, just something to consider.

Maehaad has 2 pools. The main one is massive, if you like swimming you can really do a few laps here, the second one needs care, there is an abandoned bar inside it, but my kids loved the waterfall, sandy beach around it and the bridge features. It's a great location for snorkelling with Koh Ma, 5 minutes walk. The people at the restaurant and housekeeping are friendly and helpful. The beautiful gardens make you feel like you are in paradise. There is interesting wildlife, and you can find essentials nearby, restaurants but far enough that they arent a nuisance. Perfect for a relaxing holiday. the rooms are clean and modern, beds are comfortable.

The hotel has access to beach but does not have private beach for swimming. However great public beach is on 5 minutes walking distance with couple of great beach bars.

The hotel was well maintained with beautiful garden and pool. The room was spacious and very clean. Variery of local and international food was served for breakfast. I liked the hotel very much and will go back there.
