Monkey Flower Villas is an impressive villa in a beautiful setting. It is extremely spacious with huge rooms and patio area. Lovely design features and the landscaping of the gardens are beautiful. The lit pool was fantastic with a great view of Sairee Beach both day and night. The sunsets were stunning. The kitchen was downstairs and basic but we didn’t use it to cook so it was irrelevant. The Villa is a 5 minute drive from Sairee Beach up a very steep , private drive. There is no need to hire a car or scooters as the fabulous Mo is always at hand to drop you off and pick you up anytime and at short notice. He gave great recommendations for beaches, viewpoints, restaurants, bars , dive centres etc and took us anywhere on the island. Plus we loved the cool rides in the jeep, especially when Mo’s dog Sausage came along for the ride. A great guy and a real asset to the Villa. The cleaning ladies also did a thorough job daily.

If it hadn’t been for the fantastic service provided by Muhammad and the team and willingness to ferry us around, it would be a remote location and a very steep road up to and down from the villa. However, the service was so good that this was not a problem. It just added to the unique feel of, the location.

Lovely and unusual design. Fantastic location with a superb view of the bay. Surrounded by the vegetation and wildlife of the island. The swimming pool is fantastic.

Our friends had one of their best stays ever! The view, house and staff were all perfect, and we believe it's due to good management and professionalism. Mohammed was the coolest and best manager we've ever had on any of our stays (and we travel a lot around the world!). We will definitely come back again for a longer stay. And if you don't know much about the island and need anything, Mohammed is your best buddy!

Beautiful location overlooking the beach. The tree house will remain in our memories for some picturesque sunsets. Mo is top host ! Booked us a fishing trip and helped us bbq the fish. Took us anywhere we needed at very short notice. Thanks Mo 🙏

The road is a little crazy but we got used to it. The driver and manager are great and very safe.

The villa is exactly like in the photos, beautifully situated and surrounded by lush vegetation. The swimming pool at the villa is very clean. Don't hesitate if you are considering coming to this place - it is wonderful. The only thing we have to mention is the location. The villa is high on a hill and the driveway is very steep and quite narrow, so it is only for really experienced drivers (if you would like to rent a car or a scooter). Personally, we can't imagine going to the beach or the town center every day. However, this is not a problem because manager Mo is happy to take guests in his pick-up anywhere on the island and at any time... Thank you Mo for your hospitality and help ...and wishes for a speedy recovery for Steve

Only one small thing, we were contacted during our stay that house keeping found sun cream stains on one of the bed sheets and a little pink stain on one of the pillows but no pictures of this, it was a bit of a strange thing to make an issue of. Sun cream stains I assume are fairly normal in a holiday villa by the beach, although I’m not sure how bad sun cream can stain sheets!

The Villa is so beyond beautiful, the rooms and very big and the infinity pool is amazing! The host was brilliant, he collected our bags from the port at 6am when check in was 2pm so we didn’t have to carry them around for the day, he then dropped us to a beautiful beach so we had somewhere nice to be while waiting to check in. Throughout the stay he offered to give us lifts into the main town area, he was so kind.

Can't think of anything. We will look to stay with other friends here in the future. Fabulous place, and very easy to explore the island because of their transportation inclusion.

Communications from booking and throughout the stay was exceptional. Personal meet & greet and explanation of the property and island features, as well as transportation inclusion and suggestions of the perfect spots to go swimming and snorkelling second to none. They even invited our kids – 11,8,6yo to jump from the roof (totally safe!) and swim at another villa on their property much to their delight! They organised a local to take us out for a day on a longtail snorkelling around the island, and this is a fab excursion to explore the area.

Words can’t explain nor describe how grateful we are that we got to stay at Monkey Flower Villa. This place was the highlight of our trip to Thailand - perfect location, stunning views and above it all - Steve and Mohammad were just amazing to us. We are truly grateful for meeting them. Some restaurants don’t deliver to the house due to the steep hill but, of course, Muhammad is there to go pick up your food. Hero!

We stayed at villa n1, it was simply perfect. As you can imagine, the views are completely breathtaking, probably the nicest views in the island right from your bedroom, and what a bedroom! extremely big and comfortable hanging bed, opening the curtains in the morning was a pure pleasure and unforgettable experience. The design of the villa is very special too, surrounded by jungle, the design blends into the environment perfectly. Even has some nice gimmicks such as climbing the roof to jump into the 3 meter depth pool. But what makes the experience truly next level is the amazing support provided by Muhammad, he is always available to drive you anywhere in the island, you call him, he arrives under 10 mins no matter the location. I still don’t understand how can he make it haha. Bonus is that sometimes he comes in the car with his doggy, Sausage, which makes the drive even more fun. This place is a must stay, if you can afford it don’t even think about it.

The villa is unique and beautiful! From the outside it looks like a smurf house, and inside seeing the rock of the hillside as part of the walls of the villa is amazing. Bedrooms are spacious and cool. Kitchen is basic but fine for what you need. Pool is nice and deep but for dipping rather than swimming. Sunset is just behind a tree but the view from the pool is lovely. The location as the crow flies isn't crazy far from the beach but in reality you wouldn't want to walk it - it's up a very steep hill. The final unique and excellent thing about this place is called Steve - the villa comes with a driver, on call at all times, who will take you to and from anywhere on the island and who is also lovely. We'll be back!

Everything was great!

If you're looking for a place to stay in Koh Tao, look no further than Monkey Flower Villas. My family and I had an incredible experience there. From the attentive and friendly service of Muhammed and Steve to the clean and well-maintained rooms, we were thoroughly impressed. The property is kept in great shape, thanks to the hard work of the staff, including two lovely ladies. And having Steve as our driver was a huge plus - taxis in Koh Tao can be expensive, but with Steve, we always had a reliable ride. Despite the language barrier, my dad enjoyed chatting with Steve, who even helped us manage our boat back to Surah Thani and gave us great advice on local restaurants. We can't wait to return and stay in one of the bigger villas with bigger pools and breathtaking views. Trust me, you won't be disappointed with your stay at Monkey Flower Villas.
