The pools could have been cooler they were very warm.

The staff were very accommodating, the facilities were amazing , and it was a great location. Renylyn the guest relations manager was amazing , she helped us out so much during our stay.

There was nothing I didn’t like but if I was going to be picky I would say the hotel could do with better quality food at the restaurant. It was by no means bad but not on par with the local restaurants where the food was amazing and much cheaper.

This was an ideal hotel to stay with children. Very well thought out with families in mind. I never return to the same hotel but would definitely consider a return visit here. Massages by the pool and a lovely beach. In the heart of a beautiful sleepy town, lots of local restaurants and a great night market on your doorstep. Clean pools, good children’s facilities and slides. Ideal for families. We upgraded to a pool access room and it was definitely worth it.

All the pools were lovely but would have been nice to have one with more shade because of the heat!

Huge resort with something like 9 pools!! Lots of water slides, amazing breakfast. Tons of sunbeds around the pools. Hotel is right on the beach. We got upgraded to a beach view room which was also right next to a pool and massage area, which was perfect! There are tons of restaurants along the beach to the right and then also on the high street in Kamala. Not a huge variety of different food like in Pating, but a lovely relaxed vibe. We also loved the big 7 11 for grabbing snacks and a quick bite for lunch.

Kids' club was a bit underwhelming to my 7-year old.

Everything was as expected. Room was clean, pools were many. Beach access was very convenient. Massage on (near) beach was cheap(!) and relaxing.

The pools were like a bath and it would have been nice if they were a bit cooler but not sure what can be done about that.

None. Just adding a note of sharing, they do take their pool towel card clause very seriously. My kid lost our cards near the pool area and they insisted on charging THB 800 per card. To be fair they did explain the charges during check in but weren’t flexible for a genuine kids error. They did offer a 50% discount per card but eventually we got lucky that one of the pool staff had found & kept it. Strange though that the found cards were not reported until we were insistent on searching & finding than paying. All in all just a small glitch in a hugely delightful stay.

Helpful, welcoming and friendly staff. Location is amazing. Thai people are the kindest, friendliest people I've ever met. Hotel is clean, great facilities for families, would definitely recommend Sunwing Kamala. Loved it and gutted to leave.

Despite being a family hotel it has lots of pools that are calm where you can chill and relax. Buffet is great, it’s located at the beach and the staff is very friendly. The beach is also not too crowded and has plenty of bars and restaurants.

Everything is catered for families in mind. There are at least 6 pools, with three big slides and two tiny toddler slides. It’s a short walk to the beach and the beach is not separated by a road so it is very safe. We stayed in a family room with a garden which led straight into the pool area. The cocktails were great. The kids entertainment was good too.

Loved all the pools & Kamala Beach area. During the day it’s a kids paradise of fun in the water. Our kids learned to surf :) at night an awesome vibe - beach restaurants, fire show (in front of smile bar) which the kids enjoyed a lot & great Thai restaurants. A must do is the new Waterpark Andamanda.

Exceptional stay in a lovely hotel right on the beach. Special mention to Monte and Renel who went the extra mile to make our holiday remarkable. Lots of places to have a drink, lunch or dinner just outside the hotel facing the sea with jet skis, parasailing etc.. For more restaurants, cafes or a massage turn left on the beach, you will see a green bridge. Walk over and turn right. A 5mn walk.

The slides. While it's great that they have so many slides (3) for kids to choose from they really need some maintenance and redesign. One of the slides goes incredibly slow while in another you struggle to stay in as it nearly flings you over the side.

Great hotel with very friendly staff and facilities! We were upgraded to the Royal Family Suite which was amazing as it was directly at a pool. The breakfast offered a lot of choice and was very tasty! The beach is just a short walk away where there are some amazing restaurants and also some local shops. The massages provided at the hotel are also very nice and it's great that they are the same price as the ones provided at the beach.

Beds were hard, I did not sleep very well (and I'm usually a good sleeper). If you are looking for a charming hotel, don't come here. It's a big 'machine' with many rooms, many pools, many people. I had better options in Phuket for almost the same price.

Location is the best, near the beach and near the village of Kamala and the 7 Eleven. Hotel offering many facilities and services. Great for kids (pools, luge, shows, kids club). Family room was huge! Breakfast buffet is very good and diverse.

We stayed as two families with 4 adults and 6 children ranging from 11 to 17 years old. Relaxing, friendly staff, good food, breakfast lunch and dinner. Pool table and kids activities. Beach front and they upgraded us to more spacious and comfortable rooms. Plenty of restaurants along the beach and markets.
