Wonderful villa to stay at in Chiang Mai. A big night market every weeks and very close to the airport, but you never hear the planes take off.

Very clean hotel with local architecture, large rooms, friendly owners. On the border of the city center, close to all the attractions and at the same time on the sidelines, where it is quiet and peaceful.

The only improvements would be a slightly softer mattress. Wasn’t the firmest I’ve had since in Thailand, but could feel the springs. Also the TV only had 1 channel - France24 - not a big problem as I didn’t really watch much TV.

Felt very homely. Clean, comfortable and hot showers. The walking street market on Saturday was amazing (literally outside the door of the hotel). Felt very safe. 7-11 close by and a short walk into the Old City.

I’ve spent quite some time here and loved the space, the room and location. Staff and owners are super friendly and there is an awesome roof terrace which is a perfect place to chill and relax after a long day or just whenever you feel like it. Walking distance to the city but just outside the wall which makes it quiet at night for a perfect sleep! Thank you Maarten and all for making it such a pleasant stay!!

Could feel the springs on the bed, a little outdated but not completely uncomfortable.

Lovely family owned hotel. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. I had to leave early due to illness and they were very helpful in accommodating this. The room was large and spacious and had an amazing view of the mountains. great outdoor balcony area with pool table, and a resident cat who is very friendly.

Nothing! Would happily stay here again when I'm next in Chiang Mai.

I had a very comfortable week here. The room was spacious and clean, and I appreciated touches like daily free water bottles and the wet room floor squeegee after showering. The top floor has a single room and a large terrace with rattan couches and a pool table - with a resident ginger cat. All in all, a very pleasant place to unwind at the end of the day. The location is also brilliant - walking distance to two 7-11s, and an amazing nightly market - great place for dinner!

Great location, right off of the Saturday night market street and close to Chiang Mai Gate. Room was good size, bed was comfortable, and bathroom was clean. Would definitely come back and stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at Villa Oranje for 4 nights to visit Chiang Mai. It was the perfect location, super nice and quiet, clean and comfortable room and the patio on the top floor is really lovely with a pool table. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Very clean and close to Saturday Night Market. 5 minute walk to fruit market and close to 2 7elevens also host was very helpful and set up work area for me on the huge balcony on to floor. Look forward to going back again.

Fantastic stay. Maartin and Kung were so friendly and helpful during my stay, I really felt like family! They gave me way more than I asked for and were very accommodating during my stay. The terrace and garden are great for resting and relaxing in too. The hotel is within a block of the huge Saturday Market. If you're riding/driving, be sure to be back at the hotel before this starts or traffic will be hectic! It was incredibly nice being right next to the market though.

The hotel is very well located. One block from the saturday night market. 5 minutes walk from the south gate of the old city. The area is quiet during the night. The hotel has a very comfy roof terrace with a pool table. The owners and the staff were very helpful at all times.
