Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

The housekeeping lady rude and angry
The apartment is comfortable and modern. Kitchen has all the necessary equipment. Location is very close to Istiklal street but it has a steep hill with stairs that were extremely tiring. Mr. Kadir was amazing and made sure we were happy and have all our requests met. Big thanks to him! As for the cleaning, the lady was rude and angry all the time.

There are facilities available that anyone can ask for. Lovely and cozy apartment with a good partial view of bosphorus. The host was always available on call to help whenever needed. Mini market and paid parking is just 30 steps away.

The property is stunning, spotlessly clean, and entirely up to date. I recommend that everyone visiting Istanbul stay at this really fantastic hotel. All thanks and admiration to the owner, Mr. Kadir, and the cleaning girl, who does an excellent job. The location is exceptional, near Taksim Street and convenient to services.

Everything was excellent. The unit had everything we needed. Clean, comfortable and modern as advertised. Kadir was an amazing host! He checked in daily to make sure we had everything we needed and was very considerate to accommodate to all our requests. Truly the best! Such a warm hospitality and we appreciate it so much. The elevator was a very much needed facility that is not so easy to find in Istanbul apartments so albeit it being small, it was very necessary and glad they had one. The apartment is also very close to mini marts and lots of street food options near Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. Only downside (but nothing regarding the actual unit itself) is that the neighbouring streets are very steep. It is of course the geographical structure of most streets in Istanbul, but do keep that in mind incase you are travelling with a baby / senior citizen. We took Uber most of the time when travelling out with the whole group and finding drivers was a breeze. Highly recommended!

9/10 cuz there is 2 things I didn’t catch up with, however its still okay 1. The shower head is only above you, so if you are washing your hair everyday - its not gonna bother you, as of per me Im used to removable shower head holder… 2. Pillows… they were really uncomfortable big time…
Apartment was absolutely great. Located in 2 min walking from Taksim. In the night there is no noises, although center is right beside the corner Apartment itself is absolutely clean and good looking. I also appreciate the stuff who was in touch 24/7 and they was texting me every day to check if I need anything. I would definitely recommend this property

Super apartment completely renovated in central area with metro, bus, trams a stone's throw away. The rooms are large and the flat is very well equipped. Thanks to Kadir, our host, for his kindness and attention.

Everything was fine
The appartment is clean and well decorated, exectly like on the pictures, there is everything for a comfortable stay. The host is extremely helpful, every day he asked if we needed anything and all the requests we satisfied straight away. It is 5 minutes walk from Taksim square (though climbing the street can certainly be a challenge, but it was ok even for my 70yo parents).

-TV signal sometimes disappeared. -There is only a rain shower (from the top). Your hair gets wet . Maybe supply shower caps in the bathroom.

1. You have to climb approx 100m to go to Taksim Square. Not suitable for old folks.
Modern new apartment. Very spacious unlike typical apartment in Taksim area. There is elevator as well for luggages. This is also great plus. Washer and kitchen is provided.

The drains in the bathroom did let out smells after being dormant all day but this seemed to be common in other places we stayed too so it doesn’t have anything to do with the apartment itself.
Great location 1 street away from Taksim Square and very affordable for a newly renovated apartment in the city centre. Ammenities were clean and host was very accommodating. He went over and above during our stay, room was cleaned daily and host was always on call if anything was needed. Also located in a good neighbourhood, felt safe at all times of the day and night

I'm generally very particular about cleanliness, and I felt that the apartment could have been a bit cleaner to meet my standards. However, the location and comfort of the space still made for an enjoyable stay.
I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! Its location is unbeatable – just steps away from Istiklal Street, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The space was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, providing everything I needed for a relaxing 4 days stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.
