Staff were all excellent. A very warm welcome and our bags were carried to our room for us. The location was amazing, so close to many of the big attractions which we walked to. A bit quirky as it's not a hotel chain, but we liked the individuality of it. Breakfast was fine with a reasonable selection. The room was also a reasonable size with a decent bathroom.

The bathroom was not ideal. The wooden floor was squeaking and I woke up my daughter. The doors were thin, so when a couple next door had a shouting door slamming drama at 2am we all woke up and couldn’t sleep.

We really liked our stay at this hotel. First of all location was perfect. Also we liked hotels and room unique decoration style. Breakfast was delicious with many different food and drinks option. Room had a lot of light, but also curtains in case you like to darken it during the night. Also room size was good. And everything was clean. We got many towels and more than enough toileteries. Beds were comfortable. Staff were helpful and kind. And important to mention price was good, it was a great value for money.

No elevator

Great location! Walking distance from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Sultanahmet Square, tram stop etc. Good eateries around. Polite and helpful staff. The room came with a balcony.

This is an old building so don't expect a lift. It's not ideal if you have limitations of mobility. Our room was actually a a "family flat" in the top floor and one of the rooms had a sloped ceiling. There were two beds in that extra room, and they were extremely comfortable.

This hotel is in a great location, 5 minutes from Sultanahmet and Aya Sofia. The breakfast is nice. Quite inexpensive. Our room was spacious, although it didn't have two single beds as paid and requested here via this website.

Very nice hotel with good price for central location, helpful staff and unique style. There is a locked storage room, if you would like to leave your luggage, breakfast is included, and rooms were clean.

This location is close to center, so you need to be aware that in the morning you may be woked up by the prayers from the nearby mosque. It is not very loud, though.

We liked the hotel, it has unique style and feeling of history - not one of those large chain hotels that all look alike with neutral colors and decorations. Staff was very helpful to explain us the neighborhood and even went with us to show the directions to the nearby attractions and great fish restaraunt. We also used the storage room on the day of check-out, it is locked and very secure. Location is very close to all central attractions and to the sea as well. There are a lot of restaraunts, shops (one of which is open 24 hours), and so on.

Breakfast was definitively low-key: tasteless coffee, commercial fruit juices, not enough fresh fruits,...

First the atmosphere and the way they used local furniture. THen, the proximity to Sultanahmet and nearby cafés and restaurants.

We felt that the breakfast was nothing special, with low quality ingredients, and quite limited selection. You’d expect greater variety or changes in what was served, instead it tended to repeat itself and there was no attention from staff to cater food intolerances or dietary requirements. The staff also could try and be a little bit more friendly and polite especially at reception and the breakfast buffet.

The room decor was very unusual and the location was amazing. Super central and we could walk anywhere we wanted in the Sultanahmet and Fatih neighbourhoods.

The staff is phenomenal and very thoughtful. Everyone from the day staff Malek, Oqtay, Tyfun, the warm and friendly kitchen staff and the evening team. The location is fantastic, walking distance to the sea, Topkapi and Hagia Sophia.
