If you have a second floor room, the bathrooms are a bit odd. It all works out, but the door opens inwards and you need to step into the Turkish style shower to access the toilet. Then you can close the door. Let's just say this is why it is called a water closet. You can bathe in the traditional style by filling the basin in the stall with water and using a bucket to pour it over you. You can also adjust a spray nozzle to make it more shower-like. There is hot water . This is not really a negative to the stay, but if you frequent the bathroom at night it gets tricky as there are small steps at each threshold. If the door opened outward into the sleeping area it would be much easier. Downstairs rooms have a separate walk in bathroom. To close the room doors on the first floor, they must be pulled shut with enough force to make noise. Guests arriving early and late can disturb others. This is just a comment. I would stay there again.

Location was excellent. A very nice breakfast selection was provided. The food is delivered so don't expect the scrambled eggs to be warm, but plenty of cheeses, olives, fruits, coffee, tea, breads.....staff in the restaurant was warm and welcoming.

Fairly small rooms, but perfect for 2 nights.

Fabulous location, blue mosque and bazaar on the door step of the hotel… great location to walk to bars and restaurants and the sea. Loved our Hamam style bathroom….small but a nice treat. Balcony was lovely with sea views and view of the city and mosque.

As our room was located on the corridor to the breakfast area there was noise on some mornings that woke us up. The breakfast could have been a bit more substantial.

It's as central as you can get if you're coming to see Istanbul's old city. The staff were all very friendly and polite and gave good recommendations on nearby food and activities.

I loved everything

Excellent staff and location, nothing is too much trouble, the room has AC, fridge, window that opens, shower, spacious. The hotel is extremely central, in the old city, a stone throw away from the blue mosque and a few minutes walk to hagia sophia

A bit noisy in the room, but it's obvious for a historical building. So, just a thing to note for light sleepers, rather than a complaint.

It is a cosy hotel in a historical building just in front of the Sultanahmet mosque. The view from the room balcony is gorgeous, just perfect to have your morning coffee. It's like a little oasis with a nice garden, which is located right in the old town centre. On top of that, you will have your continental breakfast (served as a typical buffet) with a beautiful sea view on the rooftop.

High food prices for simple food. Attempts by bazaar traders to sell food at inflated prices by showing one price n charging another. Constant badgering to buy expensive products. Most people don't like to answer queries . Spices and Turkish delights at inflated exorbitant prices. Even train cards were sold at different prices by vendors. Istanbulkart machines difficult to use

Location was excellent . Close to tourist sites police presence everywhere. Safe Breakfast and staff Aiman's constant attention to guests needs on info .

Breakfast room staff had to eat 'behind the counter, out of sight. Why can't they eat at a table among guests? Cheeses in the breakfast room could be labelled so guests know what they are offered. Room description on Bkg.com suggested the view of Bosporos was different in some rooms .. I changed rooms for this but the view was the same! Sorry, hotel!!

Beds very comfortable. View from windows second to none. Staff excellent, especially in the breakfast room (a dining room manager who isn't white was a brilliant communicator and gave excellent service). Doorman was very friendly and helpful.

Our flight was a late flight and check out was at 12 we asked to extend the check out time and that we would pay, but hotel said no .

Samet one of the workers is the most polite and kind hotel staff we have met he is very hard working and hands on ! Thank you Location was amazing , walking distance from most main attractions such as grand bazaar and blue mosque. Breakfast was decent. Reception staff spoke English which made it easier

The breakfast was not up to the mark as there were only a couple of basic things kept in the buffet.

The location, comfort and staff behaviour was exceptional. Really enjoyed the stay as travelling to all tourist spots was very easy to go. I would definitely suggest this hotel to my friends and family.

Water flow in the shower of our room was too low. Bathroom could had been cleaner.

Location is perfect. it is just next to the Spice Bazaar, having so many restaurants, shops and hotel at short distances but itself is in a quiet corner that you don’t need to worry about noice at night. The building and garden are so special and beautiful.

None, everything was just sweet & perfect!

The balcony view was SUPERB, the location was super stratergic just behind the sultan ahmet mosque and just a mere walking distance to hagia sofia, grand bazaar , and as muslim i can just walk for less than 5 mins to perform my 5 time prayers and special appreciation TQSM to Mr. Seddat the Hotelliar which was really2 friendly and helpful 🧡 btw i went to night bosphorus cruise dinner which was offered by the hotel which cost me only 50 euro but worth a fortune of return transportation, full course bbq dinner, bottomless drink, singing & dancing show, totally amazing!
