How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Absolutely nothing
The hotel is a delight for the eyes from the sidewalk already, even before entering. Golden colors, glass, carpet, lightning and perfume! Beautiful entrance hall as well. The doorman is ready to help, the kind of employee who can anticipate. Very polite and friendly people at the reception desk too. Classy elevator. And finally the room: above expectation. Larger than I expected (No, this was not an upgrade). Clever equipments. Excellent beds. No sound from outside nor from the hotel itself. Bathroom classy too. Excellent bathtub and shower. It was a pleasure to come home after much walking in the city. We took the underground from station Songjiang-Nanjing, 4 to 5 min walk to the north. We could then reach a large number of sites in just a few stops. Perfect solution.

Only complaint was the bar was closed. Apparently, because it was a holiday and the hotel was full. Bit like shutting a Cafe for lunch!!!

Liked it all!
The location is excellent. Very nice breakfast served every morning beginning at 6:30. We had the family suite which was quite large. The bathroom is spacious too.

Room we had was on the smaller side, lacking dress mirror. The chairs in the room were sagging and could use a replacement. There is no gym in the hotel, no pool either. Smaller lobby.
This hotel is centrally located with excellent breakfast. Service was impeccable. Excellent shower, so good! The bed was very comfortable and room was very quiet.

Nothing not to like. Oh they stopped with soaps in the bathrooms but if you ask at the front desk they’ll give it to you.
Rooms are clean. Daily room service is very efficient. Air conditioning was good. The staff at the front desk are crack, they grok any instruction you ask of them. This was a fantastic hotel. Would stay again! The location is close to the MRT and bus links. There’s nice bakeries and food places nearby. TV had English, French, and Asian channels. Chef’s kiss.

The hotel was very comfortable and our room very generous. It included a big living room and a dining table on one side and a large bedroom on the other side. The location was very convenient. Only a couple of minutes walk to the metro. We loved the breakfast, lots of different dishes and fresh fruit and veggie . All the staff was very friendly! The style is a little old fashioned though… but that is just me .

Staff were really helpful. We reached the hotel late at 11pm and the staff were waiting patiently, addressed us by our names the moment we stepped into the lobby. Indeed, a warm feeling after a long day of journey. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Exceeded our expectations!

The rooms aren't that well soundproofed. Breakfast could have some more options as well as freshly made tea or coffee brought to the table.

Honestly nothing. There is really nothing that yi can think of.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious with variation. Great location with eateries around, very close to subway. Big comfortable room. Very clean. I won't go anywhere the next I am in Taipei. I got the feeling that the hotel has a very devoted staff who are happy to work here.

This is a great place to stay when you travel to Taipei. When we entered our room, my wife just said wow. It just gives us a different feeling from other places. The breakfast was great and delicious. They offered something in addition to the buffet table. Whenever I finished food in my plate, someone would take away the plate within a few seconds. You have to get used to it if you have never experienced this before. As part of their company culture ( same as Eva Air) everyone is kind and polite. I will definitely come back if I visit Taipei again.

location a bit far from the main sites, but strategically located in the center

I like the smell in the lobby. It reminds me of the Venetian Casino in Las Vegas. We had the family suite and the room was vast and clean. The MRT was only about five minute walk. It’s surrounded with good restaurants from Korean to Japanese. Staff was very attentive and helpful especially the bellboy name Marquez.

There is a lot of golden decoration especially in the bathroom. It's just not my taste but that wasn't really a big deal.
Location was excellent. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel. We got upgraded to a suite which was very nice. Strong wifi

The laundry facilities were old and outdated.
Great staff - very accommodating and helpful. Good size rooms. The bathroom was awesome with excellent amenities.

Everything! Very spacious room. Loved the little partition between the 2 beds. Professional and helpful staff. Super close to 7-11, carrefour and family mart. Close to many Taipei attractions by uber. Next to train station. Just across the road from starbucks and some local breakfast joints.
