Wish there'd been larger lockers (for laptops and other larger items), not just a small safe by the bed.

The location is phenomenal - so central and easily walkable from the main train and bus stations. Extremely easy to get to from the airport and the area is super nice and walkable. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The bed was great and felt private. The staff was kind and the communal space was nice. Breakfast is nice, albeit with a limited selection to choose from.

Easy to reach from the airport, within 3 minutes walking from Taipei Main station. Very very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were modern too. The bunk beds were surprisingly spacious! I could fit my suitcase there (only standing up though) but there was some separate storage space for suitcases as well. Friendly and helpful staff, had a lovely time there and the hostel kept me safe during earthquakes..! :)

Old door Hostel is conveniently located by the Taipei main station and in a very walkable part of the city. The room was very comfy and the beds were spacious and cosy. The bathrooms were as clean as you can get and there's a kitchen/common room with fridge, microwave etc. to prepare food if you want. Ximending is only a 10-15min walk from there. Downstairs in the cafe/entrance you can get free breakfast each morning which is chocolate toast and omelette and tea/coffee. Staff were really nice and friendly.

One of the better hostels Ive been to. Pretty decently sized room with space next to the bed + curtains. Toilet has a bidet + seatwarmer. Breakfast between 8-10. Great location. Also very kind staff. More than worth the price in my opinion.

This hostel is just perfect. The cabin bed is very spacious and private. The amenities are great. Fully equipped bathroom and toilet. There's a possibility to do a laundry as well. Every morning, you are served freshly prepared breakfast. And the staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Nothing the staff can do much about, but some people were quite loud late at night or early in the morning in the sleeping area and since there is hardly any noise demping it was quite difficult to fall back asleep

Sometimes it gets crowded and common areas and to stay on 4th floor there is stairs, as the elevator only goes to floor 3.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. They offer free breakfast and refreshments which is really nice. I stayed in a female dorm and I felt very comfortable and safe. Despite the location being hectic (near Taipei main station) it was very quiet. I had a great stay and will definitely stay again.

It’s a little bit loud with big road next to it but it does quiet down after a while. Also small thing but the emergency sign in the dorm is very bright so it was quite bright as my bed was next to it.

Dorm is quite big and beds are more like capsules with lots of space. Separate bathrooms spaces for women was a plus! Cafe downstairs is nice to hang out in. Free breakfast and water. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Could even leave my luggage overnight for a fee.

The upper deck but no choice hahahhaha. The elevator sometimes seems to be delayed, taking longer time to respond.

The room was spacious even though I was being arranged to be upper deck(a bit inconvenient) but still quiet and comfortable enough. I mistakenly booked for mixed dorm and the staff assisted to change upon me requesting. Breakfast was super nice and the staff were friendly and warm. One of the best part of my solo trip!!

I can’t say enough great things about this hostel! An amazing location right by the Taipei Main Station (take Y13 exit), nice staff, good food, and the bunks were so spacious and clean! Everyone gets a safety deposit book to keep your things in, there is a privacy curtain, and a lot of space to store your luggage. The bathrooms were always clean, and while there is 1 shower for 12 girls that was never a problem. I’ve stayed in many many hostels as a solo female traveler and this was the best one!

The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The property is clean and well maintained. All the basic necessities are provided. Additionally it’s right next to one of the exits from Taipei main station, especially close to airport transfer to TaoYuan International Airport.
