Great location, nice private beach, rooms are spacious and light, very comfortable bed and pillows, we had amazing sleep. Didn’t use any of the pools but they look nice. Hotel territory is big enough for evening walk during high tides. Also big thank you to the team for cake and special attention for our son birthday.

SpainMy family recently enjoyed a stay at Dhow Inn, and we couldn’t have had a nicer time. Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing, pools felt very private and well-maintained, beach location was idyllic and the service was perfect. Rooms were very spacious, clean, well appointed and with comfortable beds. The excursions we booked through the hotel were also great - we snorkeled with sea stars, visited monkeys in Jozani National Park, and they even helped arrange our safari in mainland Tanzania. I hope we can visit again soon!

SloveniaYou need to call reception for every filling up of small glass bottle of water because there is not allowed to bring your own water, food or drinks. After 10 pm you need also to pay for bottle of water (5000ths for 2 bottles) what we see very uncommon. Pools were not clean, our swimsuits colored yellow.
Ala carte food was amazing. Hotel is near the beach and has all facilities you need. Nice and huge rooms, friendly staff, a lot of cats.

United Arab EmiratesGround level rooms lack natural light & privacy curtains for daytime living. Following an upgrade, we can highly recommend the upper level rooms with terrace splash pool. This room made our experience all worthwhile. Although senior management appears to be driving a higher service delivery, we never saw them. There was zero customer interaction from management. All credit to the staff who did represent.
Very relaxed & calm environment. The hotel is very clean & well maintained overall. We could see that much effort has been put into establishing a high level of customer care & and professionalism, but still room to grow. Friendliness & smiles...10/10.

Everything was perfect and beyond. It was our honeymoon, couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. The staff is so so friendly, they do everything they can for you to enjoy your stay. The hotel is extremely clean, they literally clean like 3 times a day. Complimentary water and coffee in the room which we loved. Great location. The pools are lovely and also very well maintained. The beach is breathtaking. The nearby town is such a vibrant place full of culture. We even visited the local school just about 100m from the hotel. I wish we could go back really!

RomaniaThe location is ok but it gets very warm at the pool because it's situated between buildings. This place is more for families and people of certain age and the price is a bit high.
Nice location, good food especially in the morning and the staff was very nice. The room was comfortable and big. Something extra: we received one dinner at the a la carte restaurant which was lovely.

United StatesMy only complaint was I was hoping for more of the traditional Tanzanian foods at breakfast. What they had was great but some chapati and mandazi would have been even better.
We love Zanzibar and have been many times but this was a new location. It was steps from the beach, it had a variety of pools to choose from, the staff were super helpful and attentive. On the day we left, our flight was late in the day. We checked out of the room and not only could we store our bags upfront, but they had a room where we could shower and change clothes before heading to the airport, all at no additional charge. Talk about service!!
