This place is a fairy tale in a paradise! Lilien and Laura is so kind people, but the whole stuff is very friendly. We really love this little hotel! The beach is incredible!!! If you have time, don't miss the trip with the local boat to the reef. (it's on the beach on the left... It's cheap and amazing experience with snorkeling) Dear Laura and everybody! Asante sana!! If I had to say something I didn't like - the bed was too hard.

The location was amazing, staff were friendly and helpful. Our bungalow was lovely and had lots of little extras which made the stay more comfortable. Loved that there was a swimming pool too. My husband and I have travelled to many places and this is definitely one of my top 3. Can't wait to return.

Nothing - it is a great place to stay

Poa Poa is very small and intimate, which creates a homely and relaxed atmosphere. The staff work very hard to provide a spotless and cosy environment just steps from the beautiful beach. The bungalows are discreet and harmonious, and the pool is a good size for a small hotel. Meals are served in the lovely beach bar with good food and occasional live music. Zanzibar is not a cheap destination but we loved the fact that Poa Poa has a sense of intimacy and style that makes it a special place to stay.

The bed was no so comfortable.

We liked that the property was not one of the bigger resorts. We received great service. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Awesome to have a pool in the resort!

me and my daughter just turned back home and already miss our great stay. the room are very clean , have all you need. breakfast and dinner are superlatives. loved to step out the room and putting my barefoot directly on the sand...few steps more and you're directly on the wide, white beach. you can use the two bicycles to wander around and if you love to sleep with the sound of the ocean, the quietness of the nature surrounding you, great staff at your disposal what whatever you need...well this is the right spot. thanks to Sebastian and laura :-))

The food was very good not the cheapest but value for the cost compared to other resorts The fact that PoaPoa was on the beach and the staff were very good and speak English They pointed us in the right direction to get the best out of our stay Our only problem was that we needed to stay longer. as the flights from the UK are so long (14 hours)

Very friendly managers and staff. The place is small, but very beautiful and cozy, located right at the beach. Parasols and a couple of trees provide sufficient shade to hide from the sun. Drinking water is also provided for free. Water sports activities can be found right next to the hotel. Food at the restaurant is great, and there are also other restaurants nearby. All in all, we had a wonderful time.

Everything! Room has everything you need, was super clean. We loved small boutique hotel atmosphere, you have privacy but can also sit on the beach, not so many people bothering you as in other beaches. Pool was great, food and drinks excellent and we also had an opportunity to see live concert (twice a week now). If we will come back - only to Poa Poa! beach is wide and water ok - you can go for a long walk and see beautifull sunset. Laura, Magda and staff are super helpful, always smiling :) it was a short one but we loved it!

No one drawback to point out

Poa poa is a lovely and cozy place. I really enjoyed the time I spent there. Having a dinner just two steps away from the ocean is amazing, one of the most thought-provoking atmosphere I've ever experienced. The staff is well prepared and the cucine they offer is mouth-watering. Lastly, Mirembe has scored 10 out of 10 in hospitality. The whole experience was great, friendly staff great location and lovely food, prepaired like in a 5 star resturant. And the best Mojito in Zanzibar 😊 We will be back for sure❤️
