It was a little further from the city than we realised. You definitely need a car if you want to explore the city region. Basic choice of fast food restaurants nearby. Great if you are just driving through as there is no need to drive through busy city traffic.

The most comfortable bed. Room was spacious with all necessary facilities. Convenient parking at the property. Good grab and go breakfast included.

I don’t like that the bathrooms don’t have fans to suck out the fog while showering.

Like many other hotels in Portland it seemed overpriced compared to other cities we have visited this year.

The clerk was not at the desk when we arrived, waited about 5 minutes for her to return. The first room number/keys we were given were for the wrong room and we woke up and I’m sure scared the occupant of the room trying to get in (it was 12:30AM). The clerk did claim responsibility for writing down the wrong room and was very sweet, we just felt badly for the woman in the room and it was a very long walk to that room and then back to the lobby.

Our first night we were given the wrong handicapped room. I reserved the king room with the roll in shower but the room was double beds with a bathtub. I'm not able to get in a tub. The room was so, so. They put us in the king room the second night and the room was beautiful because it was newly renovated. My biggest concern is the toilet was too low and difficult to get up and down. The hotel needs to have a taller toilet in handicapped rooms.

Melissa checked us in and went above and beyond trying to help get me up out of low rental car. She is so pleasant and friendly.,

Cleanliness perhaps a little under par in the room. Breakfast not great in terms of choice but coffee was good!

The room was beautiful for the first floor .. staff was amazing and super helpful .. they need a restaurant again tho i think 🤔 but that's just my opinion .. this is practically my home town and its about time it's run properly again .. I remember when it was a Holiday Inn .. those were the days .. family is family is family ... lets start getting along can't we ? I mean what are we doing here ? So i have no complaints about my stay at the beautiful istablishment called the Fireside Inn .. ty 🥰

Room could be cleaner and the breakfast was pretty slim. We were running the b2b and really could have eaten a bagel or some juice or yogurt.

There was no electricity until 1:00am. Room had AC on a backup generator but the room was stuffy and no fan for air circulation. Room smelled slightly old. Breakfast was underwhelming. No fresh fruit or yogurt. Prepackaged muffins and Belvita or granola bars. Bacon, egg and cheese biscuit to heat in the microwave and coffee No juice.

Convenient to Route 95. Staff was helpful . Room was clean.

The hotel was huge, but it seemed like they had most of the guests in this odd little back corner near the highway in a place with little visibility or surveillance. The layout was a bit confusing, and the hotel was showing its age. The breakfast provided was just pre-packaged Little-Debbie type snacks.

The indoor pool and spa were nice, the room was large, clean, and comfortable. The hotel was big enough to accommodate a lot of people, and it looked like at one time it was a very grand place.

I woke up to find water on the floor under the desk and tv cabinet. But it was raining heavy that night and I did inform the front desk when I was leaving. The gentleman was very apologetic

This was my second time staying. I liked that it was easy to check in and out and that it was fairly quiet. The bed was comfortable
