We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaThe room itself had a lot of human hair that wasn’t cleaned from the last person, I presume, so unsure how thoroughly the room was cleaned. We also went to the on site restaurant, which was pretty sad all in all. The salad bar was not kept stocked with greens, the soup wasn’t labeled. The soup was really good, though, whatever it was, haha. The worst part was the prime rib as it’s my boyfriend’s favorite meal to get anywhere we go and this was not edible. It didn’t even look like prime rib. It was their special that night so if you’re going to have a special, be sure you can provide that. We are not people who usually say anything, but we did in this case since it was so bad. The chicken tetrazzini was good but not great. The on-site bar was well stocked and decently priced. Everyone on the staff who we talked to were super nice.
Location is great and the bed was comfortable.

We like the convenience of the restaurant, bar & plenty of parking ! We like staying on the 1st floor. Also, the outdoor surroundings and lake are beautiful & nice for walking.

United States of AmericaRestaurant- basic, a bit understaffed, pretty good food (sandwich), acoustically “live”. Staff worked like beavers. Room- decent bed, relatively quiet, and- again- very basic. No frills, but no complaints either. Facility- old, worn, reminiscent of Super 8 motels in the ‘60’s. Whole place echos.

United States of AmericaA cleaned out filter with the air conditioner. A few updates in the room and bathroom. Some carpet stains. A light bulb was burnt out in the bathroom. The windows could have been cleaner and things always age over time.
The lighted fire place in the lobby was the best. It set the mood for a nice stay. After the restaurant closed, I was able to have pizza @ the bar. Was able to use the whirlpool in the morning. The new parking lot worked out well.

United States of AmericaThe pool and hot tub are wonderful sizes and good depth for both kids and adults however there was a layer of grime on the tile of the pool just above the water line that really needs to be cleaned off and grossed me out as my little children need to hold the side of the pool often.
There is construction going on so less options to see the full glory. A little outdated room furniture but still very comfortable and clean rooms.. The restaurant is beautiful and great service and the island has beautiful views and a wonderful little store.

The beds were comfortable. Also the pool was nice to be located right in the middle. The staff was very kind and quick to help when needed.
