Best Western hotels are known to offer decent free breakfasts but not this one. It has few options, runs out, and looks like something out of a Motel 6. I still choose to stay here whenever I visit, but seriously, skip the breakfasts and save yourself the disappointment. Enjoy the tasty options Bennington offers and skip the "breakfast" for a much better start of your day.

The hotel is clean with reasonable rates and close to everything. There is a foot path in the back that takes you right to a small strip mall with a grocery store, some food, and a Walmart. Dowtown Bennington is just a short drive away. The rooms are mostly motel-style, but comfortable and clean. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming.

More of a motel feel. Stale milk smell in the fridge. Not much to do in the area, ok for a stop over.

Beds were comfortable and the shower was fine. Breakfast was ok. Staff friendly.

The breakfast was very limited. Lots of stuff missing every morning. The pool was closed but the staff had access to the pool with their family but not us under the heatwave. We’ve asked several time for new towels and never got new ones. We had to ask 3 times to the front desk. The staff looks lazy and unorganized. There was a lot of strange people coming thru the hotel parking lot.

Good location. There is a lot of service near by.

Several long term residents of the motel and surrounding individuals were obviously mentally I’ll and/or on drugs and left us feeling very unsafe.

This room was much better then our previous stay.

Remove coffee maker from room. It hasn't been used for a while and very dirty. If you are offering coffee 24/7 in lobby, why have it in the room? Room was dark even with lights on. Difficult to or not able to read. Chair to desk is not comfortable and may need repair or replaced. Not enough lighting in shower area. An extra chair in room would be a plus in addition to one by desk.

Just had coffee. I'd give up the free breakfast for better room amenities.

The room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke. Breakfast was very limited. The doorway to the room was a little grubby.

The section we stayed was butted up against the Pricd Chopper and a few other stores. So Thanksgiving early morning a truck was park close to the side of the lot with music blaring at 3:20ish am. But it only gets better, Our room was a corner room, you have to open a door which opened in to a small hallway I guess you could call it. Our door was behind the open door and the other guest was to the left. This created a sound chamber. We get back from Thanksgiving dinner and was awakened by the guest next door being loud. This was around 11pm, but that was minor. Then I was awakened at 1:51am by a couple outside the window being very loud seemed they may have overindulge, they were smoking so it was filtering into our room, or they were smoking in their's and seeping through the adjoining door to their room. Which this is not the same door to the mini sound chamber. So as I mentioned there is a door behind the stand housing the mini fridge and microwave. Fast forward to 2:05am, now they sound like a herd of elephants stomping around the room. It was so bad that I could hear ever part of their conversation and if that was not bad enough que porno sound track at 2:12am, omg, oh yeah etc. etc. Not very happy! Very little sleep Thanksgiving night. Do not take room 144 or 145 as they are in the corner and again share the same entry way. As for 144 it has an adjoining door to 143 which we were not made aware of. The guests next to us in 143 didn't get into their room until around 6pm Thanksgiving night, how do I know this, as said could hear everything. So the night before it was not bad or at least not until the truck at 3:20am. No sense in calling the front desk about anything as not much could have been done. Luckily pornfest was very short lived! Manged to a total of 4 to 5 hours of sleep after being woken up three times. Stay out of the corner and the rooms along the Price Chopper parking lot.

Steve has customer service down to a science. The place is old but they updated it. Bed was comfortable and it was close to where we were going for the holiday as well as stores if you needed anything.

I was surprised and frustrated that the price for the second 2 nights was so much more expensive. The change in prices was never revealed to me when I called and made inquiries as to prices.

- The room furniture looked a bit outdated - The gym was rather small, no towels left when we worked out there - Few healthy breakfast options

+ Very attentive and helpful staff (in fact, this place was the only one that bothered to answer my breakfast request regarding food allergies during a four week long road trip along the East coast) + Big, clean room with a comfortable bed + Good location, it's close to the Bennington Battle Monument and there is a supermarket just around the corner + Outside pool and free parking
