Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThere were places to walk and explore on the property. If you can, plan some extra time to look around. Breakfast was great.

United States of AmericaIt was very difficult to find the place, especially at night. GPS gives the wrong direction. Although we got an email for the direction, it was unclear. When we tried calling the phone number provided no one picked up. We even emailed the property but no one replied. When we reached the property, no one was there to receive us other than a letter on the door. We had to leave early and since the letter said that we were allowed to help ourselves in the kitchen and it was B&B, we took fruits and coffee when someone came in, never bothered to introduce herself (Christine), and seemed displeased that we helped ourselves. She was very cold and made us feel uneasy.
We were very pleased with the cleanliness and the facility itself. We liked the property as a whole as far as comfort is concerned. The room was very clean and well-stocked.

CanadaThere was no one there to great you. We had a notice taped to the front door. Except for the breakfast period there was no one at the house. For us the property was too far out of the way.
The rooms were comfortable. The breakfast was great. The house was neat and tidy.

United States of AmericaI would have enjoyed the experience of meeting the owners and possibly trying their wines. We were disappointed that we never saw any farm animals. It was quite a drive to restaurants, etc. I felt like there wasn’t much to do on property.

United States of AmericaIn this age non contact its a bit odd not to have someone to greet you. One of the selling points was this room had a soaking tub with views out the window of the moon and stars. Unfortunately there was no hot water to use and enjoy this feature, when I explained to the inn keeper the response was I'm sorry I'll have someone look at it as I have no idea how to fix it....i left for the day and when i got back I was expecting a not e or something about the tubs status, there was nothing...tried the tub again and after running the water for 30 minutes still no hot water. The breakfast left something to be desired ( overnight pumpkin French toast) not something a great deal of people are into...I tried it but nope wasn't for me fortunately there was bacon with it...the o.j. was beginning to turn sour. I've been to numerous B&B's and normally at breakfast the offerings are pretty much recognizable to the guest and often more than one option. I enjoyed the room and property overall just wish the tub had worked, had I known I would have stayed elsewhere. The employee hired as the innkeeper lack personality. Other B&B innkeepers are interactive with their guests and spend time getting to know theirs making them want to come again and again. One such place for me The Mendocino Village Inn.
Over all I liked the place, it was quiet, peaceful and just far enough off the beaten path. The sound of the crickets, cattle off in the distance. Great views of the moon and sooooo many stars. The room was great.

United States of AmericaThe only thing that I didn't enjoy was the fact we had to go home, back to reality.
We truly enjoyed hospitality given to us by our innkeeper/chef. Breakfast was beautiful and delicious both mornings. She was very creative in her dishes. The grounds were peaceful and beautiful. I loved watching the chickens.

Everything. The bed is comfortable, the house is clean and beautiful. I love that we got to do our morning walk throughout the property. And we did a picnic at their garden. It was beautiful.

United States of AmericaGreat room, like a junior 1 bedroom. Sleeper sofa in the living room and king bed in the bedroom. Nice mattress. Private balcony in back. Breakfast was great. Lady who made breakfast was great. We somehow got a really good deal $150 or so. I looked and it goes up to $300. I wouldn't likely have booked it for that much but i understand the value. Walked around the property a bit in the morning and it was nice. Very relaxed. Got there around 8pm at sunset. Nobody around. Had the run of the place. I guess there was another guest downstairs but we didn't hear them. Only 3 rooms on the property so definitely not crowded or noisy.

B&B is located among grapes and olive trees. Few miles outside the town but close enough to visit a restaurant or other store. Very quiet, safe environment. Cows, sheep and chickens. Many paths to walk and explore. Good breakfast around a long table so guests can communicate with each other. Comfortable room; plenty of space. An ideal location for those who would like to stay, even for one night, in a home environment away, from motels along the highway.

United States of AmericaThe distance to restaurants was over exaggerated on my part. Its actually closer than I realized to get food from somewhere. I paid 100 bucks for door dash for a burrito and 3 tacos so don't be scared to drive at night.
Great breakfast! Comfortable bed and beautiful room. The restroom was awesome.. Hot water and clean toilet. It was an all around great experience. The Vineyard was beautiful and the property is kept in pristine condition. The scenic drive made it all worth the experience.
