Staff was friendly. Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean and beds were comfy. The Waterpark was awesome and everybody enjoyed the attractions.

United States of AmericaNot enough family bathrooms, it would be ice if castaway bay had 2 more family rooms considering there is showers inside them and people take FOREVER in them.
Arcade was a vital overpriced but was cool looking. Everything else seemed ok except you need like 2 more family rooms in the.waterpark area, with a shower inside there, it takes way too long to stand there and wait. Overall our trip was great! ¹

The rooms were very spacious and clean, we had a great time. The waterpark was clean and had very attentive staff. Plenty of chairs to sit. Was a wonderful experience, we will be back!

United States of AmericaBunk beds weren't very sturdy. Breakfast is expensive for kids. Wish they had menu items for little ones that won't eat a $15 buffet. The elevator took 5 years of your life lol!
The room was cute. Bunk beds are definitely not made for teenagers but they worked ok. Water park was great! Loved the game room. Finding all the little doors was cute.

United States of AmericaWhat chemicals does the Waterpark use? My 3 kids came home with red bumps - rashes - all over their body. They've had this the 3 times we've been to Castaway Bay. They are too harsh - we've never had reactions on our skin at any other Waterpark. Yuck...transgenders working at the counter, I almost walked away. Disgusting.
The breakfast was good but kind of pricey for a family of 5. The hotel needs quiet hours, with 3 kids in bed at 9, it was really loud until about 11pm.

United States of AmericaThe hallways really need to be warmer, there were so many people complaining about that aspect. It would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room.
We had the bunk bed room which the kids loved. We thought the changing area in the room was cute but needs a curtain. Breakfast was too expensive. So, I went out and bought milk and snacks. I bought coffee downstairs and a couple of doughnuts. The front desk was so very nice and helpful.

Our stay was great! This was our first time and our kids loved it. It was very clean during our stay and the staff were really nice. This was is really geared towards younger kids and it was perfect for my two young girls.

United States of AmericaDuring Saturday evening- the busiest time at the waterpark many of the areas all closed at once. The basketball pool, wave pool, the big water slides, and the climbing pool. That was disappointing. Especially since that was the busiest time of our stay and so many people without any where to go. I understand the interuption was less than an hour but for the price we paid at the time of night there should have been no interuptions. Also it felt as though the water in the wave pool was cold as well as the water park room in general being cold while not in the water. Our shower was dirty with hair in it and the heater in our room did notnget warm enough especially after being so cold in the waterpark.
We had a great time, staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The room was nice sized, beds were comfortable.

United States of AmericaWe were in an adjoining room, they were strangers to us, they were very noisy talking and laughing loudly until past midnight, then the talking became somewhat less, but the music did not. They played a lady singing, it was loud and annoying, it sounded repetitive and was coming through the adjoining door, plus in the hall, it lasted until 12:35AM, until I called the front desk to report and security came over to knock on their door, about 12:40. They turned off the music, but evidently didn't like my complaint, they slammed the door 3 additional times, maybe people leaving. On Saturday I went to the front desk to express my concern that the same partyers would do the same that night, I needed sleep. Unsmiling, I was offered another room, a few doors down. I accepted moving to another room, my daughter and grandkids weren't pleased to have to move. I had to get both key cards and return to the front desk that afternoon. At that time, they had about 4 customers at registration with 2 women and the "manager", I had spoken with earlier to get the room change, working the desk. I stood to the side to exchange key cards for the new room. After the "manager" got done with 1 customer she addressed me and said, "we have a waiting line, you're going to have to go to the end of the line". I wanted to remind her that I was there to get new key cards. So I said, even if I'm just getting new key cards? She said with no apology, no smile, with a stern look, Yes, we have these people checking in, go to the end of the line! I have diabetes and have to be careful with over walking or over standing, but I did so, I waited until I was next in line, and when it was my turn, she got up and left!. That made my wait just a little longer because now there were 2 women working. Not appreciated. I had a reservation paid for until Sunday checkout.
My 2 grandchildren enjoyed themselves very much! It was clean!

United States of AmericaWe were right by the door to the elevator so all night long we heard the door opening and slamming shut our daughter didn't sleep good and we didnt barley sleep. Breakfast was BURNT but they brought out new so then it was good. There were HUGE spider's everywhere and we understand BUT they were all in the door ways to go in and outside you literally had to run just to not get spider's on you. All chairs had huge spider's and webs. When booking a month in advance we were told if we kept in contact we could get a room with a balcony facing the water, we kept in contact multiple times but when we got there we were told they had no balcony room facing the water anymore so that was very poor communication on there side. Overall we had a good time and would probably come back. Little pricey for a family of 3. Our daughter is almost 2 we spent about 1000$ for a weekend. The room was almost $650 for 2 nights
