We expected there to be a small kitchenette, but that must of been my mistake. However, a toaster in the lounge, might be useful. There was a lot of great food just on the same street, so it was fine. Maybe ice machine in the building? Water in shower did not get that hot, and rain shower is not always best for women I find because sometimes we don’t want to wash our hair! Apart from this, truly exceptional.

The room, lobby, gym, lounge were beautiful! Location is excellent but most of all, the staff were wonderful! Helpful, cheerful, I felt at home.

We had booked a triple room. Booking was 1 double bed plus 1 extra large double bed. The double bed was a sofa bed which we were not aware of at time of booking.

Location was beside Central Park and just off 5th Ave Coffee machine in room and could replenish coffee pods in dedicated area Water stations available to refill bottles Room was a good size for new york Focus on sustainability in the hotel

it wasn’t as clean as I’d like… walls in bathroom felt like they hadn’t been wiped down in a while as were doors. hallways needed swept better.

Room was clean and quiet. The lighting was good and it was nice to have a desk in the room. We especially enjoyed the free refillable water bottles.

The wifi signal was weak when sitting away from the room door and closer to the window.

I really loved the location, being on 5th avenue and steps from Central Park, Subway and major shops & restaurants. Also loved the hotel, I booked the large room and it was very spacious and very nice, also the hotel was cozy and friendly, with a very nice sitting area on 2nd floor, and the staff was super friendly and super helpful, especially Keith & Thanary, they helped me extending my booking several times even when they were sold out online, they also offered me an extra discount for being a Sonder member, they helped me also with my Amazon packages, really amazing staff.

Noisy heating system/air conditioning that turns itself multiple times during night time. Only ok if you are a deep sleeper.

There was a loud boom coming through the heater vent when it kicked on. It would literally wake you up several times a night.

The finishings are like a 4 star hotel - but that is where it ends.... Maybe I misunderstood the purpose of Sonder, but if you are looking for more of a catered-to stay, this is not it. They did not clean rooms once during our stay. Maybe we were supposed to put a sign on door to let the staff know we'd like new towels, sheets, etc.? Not sure because no one ever told us. Also there is limited counter space in bathroom but its OK if you are only there for a few days.

Quality of the room itself was very basic and lacked good amenities. We had to also go to a pantry to refill our coffee, soap, toilet paper, etc
