In generally very clean, but the curtains were not so clean this time, there was some little spills and stains of food stick on it from previous people.

This is the 4th time I stay there. Great location on alameda, nice place and view, the fact that the rooms have a little kitchen with stove and sink is one of the reason that I chose this place too, all the rooms have a nice deck too, the staff is always kind and helpful, safe location.

Rooms were nice! We apparently got one of the smaller ones and still seemed bigger than average for the Bay. Kitchenette is really a great add. Lots of parking space, a Bowling just nearby and the Alameda beach to stroll and watch birds 2 minutes away. We’re making this our number one spot when possible around this side of the bay. Staff was kind and flexible. We didn’t check the included breakfast though coz after bowling at night we woke up later…

There was a distinct smell of cigarette smoke in our rooms and in the hallway. We had to move rooms to try and address this but there was still a smoke smell as we came up the stairs. The rooms also a bit worn in a few areas. Certainly clean enough just needed a bit of a refresh.

Location was great - close to the shopping malls and good access to the rest of the island. The siz eof the rooms and facilities were excellent and the staff were very friendly.

The room description was misleading, which means we purchased a room that was not was the room described in Booking.com; the room description said City View. The view was of a parking lot, not the city. On arrival, when we asked for a different room on the lagoon, for which we would pay more, the quoted price was exorbitant. Beware of this hotel's advertising. It doesn't accurately describe the room. Breakfast was uninspiring.

The hallway smelled of smoke even though the rooms were marked non smoking. I reported it to the desk clerk, her response was “I can’t go knock on every door”

The aforementioned lack of ice and the ten item check list of violations that would get us kicked out, each of which had to be initialed. To say breakfast was bare-boned would be too generous.

A veteran of the establishment I knew to expect little in frills but was a bit put off at the lack of ice. No ice for the guests. Bummed a glassful from the local KFC for my nightcap. The place is old and has changed hands multiple times. Gallant efforts have been made to make it more serviceable. Our room included a kitchen, although we neither requested nor used it.

Some of the closets and drawers were pretty run down, but they were still usable. Quite a few of my outlets didn't work, and the floor didn't seemed vacuumed, but all things that are easy to work around.

I really loved having a balcony and a full size fridge in my room. It helped me save money to buy groceries and store it.

The furniture & tvs were very outdated. It would be nice to have an elevator. The kitchen cupboards looked old.

I loved the location. Beautiful waterfront with walking path a block away. Stores & restaurants close by. The bed was comfortable with a nice ceiling fan.

Rooms were a little outdated, the parking lot is pretty narrow and beds were not very comfortable.

The kitchen in the room was amazing! The location was also amazing, right next to the beach and a large shopping center. Parking was also free!

The room was only moderately clean. The bedding was clean and the towels were too. The smell when we walked in was musty and unpleasant. We bought a candle and left doors and windows open to air it out. The curtain over the slider had rips in it and didn't fit to cover all of the slider and windows. The kitchenette was a nice area, the fridge worked great. The carpet left stains on our socks. There was residue and lint in the folds of the shower curtain. I did check for bedbugs (like I do anywhere I stay) and didn't see any signs of them.

The room was big and we had a view of the pool from the balcony, it was beautiful!! We could walk to the beach and also to a few shops nearby. Staff checked daily if we needed towels or any other supplies and were very friendly. The area was nice and quiet. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. Overall our stay was pleasant with few disappointments. I probably wouldn't highly recommend this hotel, but it wasn't the worst place I have stayed in.

The place needs some major remodeling. But then that would cause the price to go up. The location is nice.

The location was 3 minute walk from the beach and right across the street from a shopping center.
