Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It lacks a full restaurant, although the one available in the lobby was fine for a quick bite.

Shuttle service is really bad. It is contracted out to a third party and doesn’t run on any particular schedule. We just missed one and then waited 30 minutes for the next one.

There wasn't really anything that I didn't like.
The hotel shuttle, the service in the lobby and the available items at the hotel store. Also, the fact that the guest area was only accessible by guests using their room keys to electronically open a door.

We love staying here whenever we fly in and out of Los Angeles Airport. We like the free shuttle bus, the fact that we can check our bags in early, the size of our room, and how friendly the staff is. On on one of our trips, the hotel stored my husband’s golf clubs for a few days. We also like the proximity of the 10 minute walk to In & Out Burger and the park to sit and watch the planes!

The electrical points were old and so I could not get my hairdryer to work properly. The shower head was not flexible and only faced one direction.
The hotel was really close to the airport and it provides shuttle service between the airport and hotel. The room was very spacious and comes with a sofa. Bed was comfortable enough. The bistro bar serves nice food and it was quiet enough to chill for an evening if you don't wish to venture out.

Staff members were not welcoming. They only spoke if you spoke to them. They were nice once I started the conversation. But they seemed standoffish and not very welcoming at first. And the parking fee is a lot with the price of the hotel. I think parking should be free or cheaper. Also the refrigerator did not stay cold in the room.
The property was beautiful inside very spacious and comfortable room. Good location.

It's a bit pricey overall. Paper throwaway coffee cups instead of proper ones in the room. Not enough coffee items (only 1 bag of sugar, etc.). No free breakfast. Internet was slow.
Convenient location to LAX. Prompt and reliable free shuttle to/from LAX. Friendly front desk staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed.

As there appeared to be no independent restaurants within walking distance nearby, we ate in the bistro at the hotel. The choice of foods offered was not very attractive- burger, chicken tenders, fries, lots of high carb, fried food, nothing very light or low-digestion. There was a coffee machine in the room, and the sugar/sweetener/ creamer was all provided as sealed packets (2 only) containing all products- we found this odd, as there is much wastage- for us who like 2-3 pkts sugar & 2 creamers or milk in coffee, it meant asking for lots more packets, and wasting heaps of sweeteners. Most other countries have them available as loose items, so there is less wastage.
Conveniently located to LAX Airport with 24/7 shuttle service available and good information was sent to tell us how to access this. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Check-in was prompt and efficient. Wifi was free and worked well. The hotel was quiet.

Airplane taking off The shuttle took around 20 minutes to arrive. It doesn’t run as often as other hotels shuttles

Bathroom shower curtain needed replacement the bottom was a bit mildewed as well as a little bit in the creases of the shower.
Location is great, staff friendly! Shuttle is a great bonus.

We had booked for 2 days. Unfortunately, but lucky had been delayed in Miami day of check In. I notified the hotel via booking.com, letting them know we have been delayed overnight at the airport and would most likely be there in the morning. Finally, we made the next day and checked in at 10.30 am. I reiterated to the receptionist our situation and she seem to understand, or so I thought. Exhausted we showered and tried to sleep, but I had room service knocking on the door, thinking we were suppose to be checking out and reception calling the room, although the booking clearly was check out 25/3,
Beds comfy, great size room, close to airport and good to have a food market.

The area was not as good because it was a bit far from places to eat or do other fun things.

The shuttle bus to and from the airport does not run very frequently which can lead to long wait times at the terminals for the bus to arrive to take you to the hotel.
