This motel has gone through a lot of changes over the decades, and looks like it's been taken over by WYNDHAM . Gone is the great hot tub room, the breakfast or any beverage offerings in lobby. Although the resident managers?/franchise owners? are very nice and friendly great staff and motel is well kept on the outside; rooms/bathrooms in need of a remodel. Although I think it is clean, it doesn't look clean because of damaged areas, needing new paint, etc. But compared to other motels in the area the price is good. I still would continue to stay here.

Love the view, and fire places. Always been our stop for our quick 1-2 night stays for over 20 years. Used to be a great value stop, with comfortable beds, no frills motel. Easy walk to main drive. Plenty of easy parking, elevator, friendly staff. Its clean. Ceiling fans were nice, and extra fan in room as well. Be sure to ask for upper floor for best views...

This was a choice location for observing the winter ocean waves at Depoe Bay, Oregon. It was a short 1 block walk. It was King Tide season (highest tides for the season).

The heat in the room had been left on so it was VERY hot when we checked in. It took quite a while to cool the room down. We went for a walk and just left the sliding glass doors open to get some air moving. The doggy potty area is a joke. It is really non-existent. It is tiny, slopped and muddy. Plus it is right next to the smoking area-disgusting. The hotel is older so you hear everything that goes on above and below you, The people above us walked around alot but were otherwise OK. The people below us got in quite an arguement in the morning but we were packing up so it didn't bother me to badly. The information book in the room states the the office has menus for local restaurants but they do not. No breakfast either (which I knew at booking). Several dining options are in easy walking distance.

I was on floor two which is actually the main entrance level so it was easy to load/unload the gear and my dog. It was also easy to step outside for a walk or potty trip. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had the space we needed. I enjoyed the fireplace in the evening, and the porch and sliding door for fresh air. Internet worked well, and the TV was fine. Shower was hot and great water pressure. The hotel is across the street from a small area which worked as a potty spot for the dog and a great spot to watch the sunset. The hotel is 1 block north of the main town and it is an easy walk down there.

No breakfast included, which is unusual for a lodging like this one, but it wasn't a big deal.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this facility to be comfortable and clean. There was a fireplace in the room and the sliding glass door opened to a balcony where we could see the water along the coast. We highly recommend.

The fact that we turned in a leaking water hose to the toilet and it was not fixed in the three days we were there. The height of the toilet and no grab bars.

The room was super hot. The sun beats directly in the patio door in the evening. When I arrived the curtains had been open, making the room very, very hot. Was difficult to cool the room down and to keep it cool.

Great location - all rooms overlook the ocean so you can’t beat that. The room was updated and complete with a very decent sized fridge and a microwave. Within easy walking distance from food, views, and cute little shops.
