Rooms are somewhat dated but not in a cheap way. I liked it. Overall you can tell that this was a great hotel and is now lost some of its Shiney, but it's still solid and feels high quality.

The staff in checkin went above and beyond. He was sooo helpful. The entry is lovely. Great value for us.

House keeping upon request- door didn’t close unless you pushed it till you heard it click- toilet kept running-other than that it was a very nice place

Staff very friendly and helpful - view from the balcony- close to town- prices at the bar and restaurant very reasonable.

One if my reasons I specifically chose this hotel was due to it having a swimming pool. The outdoor pool was closed and the indoor pool was only available on a restricted time table.

The spa was closed. I should’ve called before making the room reservation, the reason I chose crowne plaza was for the spa. I traveled from Las Vegas and then drove from Raleigh, really wanted to get traveling worked out of my body with a good massage. Unfortunately I had to book one somewhere else and it was a terrible massage.

Easy access to rooms, strong shower head (no trouble wetting ALL your hair), good quality soap, shampoos, etc. Front desk was very nice. Pillows were comfy and the bed wasn’t bad, I prefer extremely hard, this bed was not hard at all but I didn’t have too many back issues when I woke up. Our view was of the pool and the beautiful green grass, much better than any views in Vegas in my opinion.

I think the rooms could have been updated a bit. The bathroom ceiling was a little low for my liking.

Rooms are not in Brest shape. Wall paper buckling, lighting in bathroom did work everyday, floor had holes under carpet the you would step into. My friend and I both fell.

It was a bit of a maze to get to the room. We didn't have any additional amenities with the stay, even though this hotel cost twice as much as some other places we stayed in the area. Plenty to do at the hotel, but no literature in the room promoting any of it. Two weeks ago, I stayed at a resort hotel, and they gave me a voucher for the restaurant. Everything at this place was extra and not well publicized.

The rooms were decently sized and even had their little patio out the back. It was quite clean.

the smell in the room was awful! it seems to be a musty smell so not sure if just old carpet or from dampness but it was not good

I didn't like that the balcony was dirty with cobwebs.

My first room was unacceptable. Very dirty and smelly. I was offered a much better one. Breakfast was wonderful and staff were every tentative and nice. Dinner was great. Just enough to fill me. The location will hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the City which is great.

Coffee in the dining room is weak.

Room was very clean. Not too crazy about breakfast,but it was fair.Location is great,quiet and roomy.Ample parking,easy to get on main road and downtown.Would recommend it to family and friends.

cleaners knocked on door early on leaving day , but hotel said cleaning was only by demand and therefore didn’t come on first full day but as said , knocked early to clean room on last day
