Everything was dirty, the beds had sand,the floor had sand, and no dustpan to sweep it into. our feet were black the 1st night we were there. All the dishes had sticky stuff on them and needed to be cleaned by me. we were on the bottom floor and had no sea view. Also, the bathrooms have 0 ventilation and have black mold, which was very concerning traveling with my mother with COPD and a 7 month old. But the manager was very accommodating when the toilet flooded our hotel room at 1am she gave us a new room and let us stay another night. Sadly, a lot of my clothes were messed up when it flooded, and my mom had a hard time getting upstairs. one last compalint: They claimed to have queen size beds, but I can confirm the beds are full sized because I have the same size at home. that wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for bed sharing with a baby.

Location, kitchen, they let us stay an extra day because our toilet erupted like a volcano. A/C was great!

Checkin was... difficult. Nobody in the office, no answer to the bell, couldn't reach the owner on the phone (tried several times), no answer to messages via email and booking.com. Arrived at 4h50pm, with an upcoming event at 6pm. Got in touch with booking.com for resolving the issue, i.e. cancel / refund + alternate motel, when I got the managers private phone number to get the room nr and code, after 45min. Room was fine, bathroom light was broken. Never experienced issues like these before.

I had surgery and didn't make the trip, but our eldest son and his friend stayed here. He said it had a Great Kitchen, comfortable beds. Would definitely stay here again. Easy to find.

We would like to say that we are disappointed about our visit. We booked far in advance, this because the reviews were all very good. The moment we arrived and entered the room I wanted to turn around and search for something else. The smell was real bad (ammonia?) The floors were sticky and had black spots (candy, etc.) on them. We took a wet paper towel and rubbed the floor for 3 times and it was black! So no walking around without shoes. The back door was hard to open and doorknob was no longer attached to the door and hanging loose, the rear balcony separations were gone, so the kids could not get outside for safety reasons. Kitchen appliances were all rusted (toaster, oven, fridge). In the bathroom the light switch was cracked, so I don’t know about safety so close to the sink. Talking about the sink, the drain stop was nowhere to be found. Outside the washer was out of order. After the first night we took all our stuff and left, we had to call friends if we could stay with them. I've contacted the owner about this on their website and via mail and had no replies. Maybe they dont care?

It was in a great area, I felt safe. The place had a lot of potential, I just was really disappointed on the cleanliness of the place; but we made it work.

Did not match photos. No kitchen. No bar. Mildew in closet. Toilet seat replacement needed. Outlets on lamps did not work on 2 of 3 lamps. Beach across the street within walking distance had the walkway destroyed and has all access blocked. That would have been nice to know. A/C fixture was crumbling and exposed gaps to outside. It got noisy on the weekend and the parking was filled. I had to park on the street. Doorpost gap between door and doorlocks seems wide and unsafe. No one was ever in the office, and just a phone number was posted.

Good location in vicinity to the beach coast. Price was on the cheaper side of things. Internet was reliable. Clean sheets Good A/C.

When I was arriving to Daytona, I received a phone call about how someone left an oxygen tank in the room but they would be there to pick it up before we checked in or maybe right after check in. We get to our room, and instantly are faced with the smell of a dog all over the room, an oxygen tank in the room, and two rifles in the closet. We were promised a partial refund and after texting and talking to her we never received anything back. She promised a refund, and never returned anything. The smell never got Better, if I would’ve known of the circumstances I would’ve never stayed there. I would’ve rather my money back and slept in my truck. I was not taken seriously.

I never saw a staff member the entire time I was there. The check-in was a lock box and all I got was an email from the owner with instructions. There was apparently no manager or cleaning staff to check on our comfort or needs (towels, coffee, general room conditions...). The AC was barely keeping up despite us having it set as low as it would go. At times it was slightly uncomfortable. If this place wants to operate as an "Air BNB" it should state as much up front. Otherwise, do not advertise your property as a hotel/motel. We stayed there the same weekend last year and it was much better.

Location was good and convenient. We were not expecting a super nice hotel, but more of an "old school" drive up motel which is all we needed for a three-day stay.

First night we were there in a room near us there was a dog that would not quiet down and barked a lot. Did not keep us up but did bark late into night. Only happened first night.

Mold in the tub and very out dated. Description says ocean view there’s definitely no view!There’s also no access to the beach due to storm damage for several blocks. Nothing but a sheet on the bed.

Disappointed that I couldn't walk across the street and get to the ocean. But there are repairs due to hurricane damage going on. So I drove to an area.

I have stayed here a few times. I always plan to spend a few days at Studio 1. Clean and comfortable.
