It is called RAMADA but the sign on hotel is MEADOWLAND VIEW This was really hard to find the hotel on first day. Even google got confused. At least I would expect a specific warning about this. There is quite a long walk (with a slope) to bus station. Breakfast is only few items in a bag... No fruits. There was a safe in the room but not working. Only one elevator works.

Restaurant was closed due to renovation, location of the hotel good for those with a car but to get to NY without your own car you have to take a bus or taxi.

Hotel room was spacious, equipped with a fridge, microwave, TV, hairdryer, free parking. Clean towels and cleaning of the room every day, free tea and coffee at the lobby all day long.

They don’t clean under the beds. The bathroom was clean. I asked for a vacuum but the vacuum didn’t fit under the bed hence the reason no one cleans under there. I was expecting bugs but did not see any.

    The staff was very nice.

Clearly this place has been closed for a long time and recently reopened so to be gentle on their process is fair- the elevators are very old and rickety. The facilities are sub-par but clean and functional. The lights flickered or didn’t all work and the place needs some love. But they are going through renovations to improve as they reopen so if you are fair and patient it’s not so bad. For the price to proximity of NY, it works. If you are looking for a safe place to sleep that isn’t a fortune, it’s fine. If you are looking for anything fancy or have high expectations, look elsewhere.

It was very convenient and close to NYC. Otherwise for staying in NJ it is literally right off a highway so not close to anything interesting in Jersey. Jerry city a 20 min drive away. Parking was right beside and big lot so lots of space. The blackout curtains and very quiet space. No surrounding noise. Unlimited coffee/juice in the AM

I didn't like that the hotel wasn't the Ramada anymore, but Meadowlands! It was very hard to find past midnight, and it looked really run down from the outside. When I came in , the guy standing beside the door was actually the receptionist. He gave me a room to the 7th floor, and the elevators had signs all over " closed, so not use". It looked very disorganized. The hallway going to the room was dimly lit, and my heart was sinking not knowing what to expect inside the room. It was supposed to be THE RAMADA! There was a king sized bed, and a table with TV and lamp, but they took out the couch or another table because there was a lot of empty space beside the bed. I was really hesitant to lay down on the bed, because the sheets and pillow cases looked wrinkled, and I was afraid they weren't even changed. Definitely, I was very much misled with this booking- the amount I was charged was way too high for the type of "hotel" it was supposed to be. I would have been better off in the motel nearby - low price, low expectations! The owner should rectify this mistake..

I like how the bathroom was really clean.

Nothing at all. It’s not a hotel. There’s no “Ramada by Wyndham” signboard or name plate outside as well as inside this property. It’s very old building under construction. It’s like a horse stable.

The sign needs to be updated to the correct name as it’s easy to miss. The building is under construction and so the elevators where confusing. The initial room they gave us smelled musty and Smokey and so we asked for another.

It seems like the hotel was abandoned for a long time, and whoever owns it just decided to dust off the place and open it for business. The entire place is disgusting and falling apart. The rooms have a strong horrible smell and are not properly cleaned. The carpets are dirty and dusty, and the beds are very sturdy and uncomfortable. The elevator doesn't work properly. My friends were trapped in it for a while, and when they finally could get out and notified to reception, the staff completely ignored them. In every room, they have a sign that you will be charged if you smoke in your room, but the whole place starting from the lobby stinks like cigarettes and weed. The "breakfast" is a to go paper bag with a mini bottle of water and a plastic wrapped pastry. The whole place is a rip-off. We had a horrible experience. Please don't waste your money here!

Nothing is to be like from this place.

The hotel seems to have seen better times, now it looks abandoned, the elevator barely works, the breakfast is pitiful (a paper bag with a couple of snacks), mattresses are uncomfortable as well as pillows and rooms are not properly cleaned.

It is one of the only low budget options at only 20 minutes from Times Square using public transportation.
