Loud area, loud employees smoking and chatting outside the utility room next to my door in the middle of the night, I was in #102. The light in the bathroom takes a while to light on after turning the switch.

We were transfered to another room when there was water leak from the ceiling. Room above our room had flooded. Friendly and helpful employee were polite and explained what happened, gave us the keycard right away to move to another room.

The spread had a bunch of little cigarette holes in it! The door frame at the bottom had tape on it and looked like gum was sticking to the door!

Definately needs to be upgraded, extremely dirty, sheets and pillows has stains. carpet was sticky. rooms smelled like smoke though we asked for non smoking rooms. bathrooms were not well maintained. For the price we paid not worth staying at this location.

room 108 had roaches in it I never had any problems in any of my stays but room 108 had roaches I normally stay in king rooms this first time I stayed in a double room but I’m looking for some kind of a discount

We had to go find an atm at a sketchy gas station because they wouldnt accept a debit or credit card. Then instead of allowing us to go inside to get checked in, I had to stand outside at a window in the cold to get checked in at 1 am. The next morning our shower also would not turn on. Worst hotel I have ever booked.

The bed was comfortable is the only good thing about this hotel.

It was a dead body in the room above me all day till the corner came . A woman overdose. It's stunk so bad when they took her out you could smell it in you room . I got so sick from the smell I threw up till I past out n woke up that night . Hole over tub n shower where the ceiling is caving in . Door had a very very hard time shutting and opening the door. I mean it could barely open . If it was a fire it would be a death trap . The property was not what motel 8 stands for . People had cats in their window that where employees staying on property. All the lights in breeze way did not work at night . Pitch black. Drug dealer staff are on crack . They let this place go in a few years time . They rented out rooms on both sides of the room the dead body was in and carried on like they are use to it . They told no one it was a dead body in the room . We found out by smelling the body and coming out as it was being removed.

so the moment I pulled in I new it was going to be a struggle room but it was for one night and I was tired… well about 2 hours in the creepy crawlers aka roaches broke out like the Feds but again I was prepared hence why I never brought my things inside but what took the cake was when I woke up at 4am cause my face was itching and swollen.. yup bed bugs at this point it’s three am and I have my kids with me luckily they only got me and I got them out the beds in time shortly after I frantically woke them they started to spot them on their beds.. needless to say I had to sleep in my car so I would say spend the extra 10-20 and go somewhere else face still swollen and itching as I write this hours later smh

The manager was sitting in a chair outside smoking a cigarette when we arrived and she gave us a room on the second floor after seeing my husband was using oxygen tanks instead of giving us 1 of the 3 vacant rooms on the first floor.

The only good thing about the super 8 was how close to the Duke clinic it was.

Right away we couldn’t get in until we swiped our key card about 20 times, and then we had to jiggle the door to get the lock to turn on the inside. The “non-smoking” room smelled of smoke hidden by heavy-duty cleaner, and during the night cigarette and pot smoke from outside came in through the air conditioner. The bed cover had cigarette burn holes, and there was only a sheet with no blanket. The floor was sticky. The wi-fi didn’t connect, and I had a business meeting and had to tether my laptop to my phone. The toilet flapper stuck and I had to take the lid off the tank and free it every time I flushed. The light above the sink was bare bulbs that didn’t come in unless I tapped them. The sockets were falling out of the wall so plugging in our phones was difficult and dangerous. We could not shower because the water came out of the tub but would not go up to the shower head. If we could have showered, there were only two small hand towels, no body towels to dry with. There was one switch for the bathroom light and vent combined, and the vent was so loud I couldn’t turn it on to use the toilet in the middle of the night for fear of waking my husband. We would have complained to the front desk, but there was no phone in the room (when we checked in they told us we had the last room anyway, so they couldn’t have moved us). All together this is possibly the worst room I have ever stayed in.
