$25 a day resort fee that had to be used at the onsite restaurant and/or shop. The shop wasn’t open that often and the restaurant is not great. Felt like a money grab. The shower door leaked and flooded our bathroom floor when anyone showered.

Room was not serviced twice during our stay and never hovered - and we stayed for 6 nights. Hardly any vegan options for breakfast and nothing apart from frozen soy milk when asked - for 2024 and such a big chain this is very disappointing. Also did not like to drink out of plastic cups for breakfast and the amount that goes to waste every single day. Unnecessary.

Needed to ask for bedding for pull out sofa. Ordered food through room service. Kid meal burger was overcooked, lacking cheese and served on a burnt, black bun. The rest of the order was fine.

The parking situation was terrible. I wish the hotel was more up front about options that were no the $60/night valet. Plus the $25 resort fee was an unnecessary surprise addition to our bill. The hotel was great but was more expensive than planned.

The rooms were clean but I thought living area was a little tired looking.

It was great! We had 2 of our grandchildren with us, they loved the indoor pool. The breakfasts were great not having to go find a restaurant early in the morning, and with the "made to order" everyone got to eat what they wanted. The location was perfect! Walking distance to the Midway along with many restaurants. I like how it's a suite, with the extra sink and you can close the door to the bedroom making the living room separate.The bathrooms seemed to be updated. The beds were very comfortable.

The staff were quite agressive about upselling Hilton vacation products - we felt like we needed to hide every time we walked through the lobby and dining area to avoid being pitched. This is not a critique of the staff as I know they're just doing their job, but moreso of the hotel's practices. I expect that type of pushy sales tactic from street vendors in a tourist trap, but not at a nice hotel in the US. It felt like instead of serving their guests, the hotel was just trying to extract more money from us.

The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing! The room had everything we needed. The location was a good hub for exploring San Diego.

We took Togo order from their restaurant and didn’t know that we could charge back only the subtotal towards the daily credit. That was not made clear to us at checkin.

The suites are incredibly comfortable. Rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Hotel is in a great location- walking distance to almost everything. Breakfast is wholesome and well worth it.

Very small thing but the pancakes were not great. cold and hard.

Beautiful and clean hotel. My kids loved the indoor pool and breakfast. Pancakes weren't the best but the Omelette station made up for that. Our room was very spacious and accomadated our family of 5. Would highly recommend for families.

Air conditioning is a bit noisy and can vibrate. Breakfast food is very basic but it’s free so that’s understandable.

The location of the hotel was perfect! It was well within walking distance of many attractions and several shopping centers. The room was tidy, spacious, and well-stocked!

The only thing I could say is a lot of the breakfast items just weren't warm enough.

The room was great for our stay with our kids. Location was perfect as it was walking distance to the Midway, the seaport stores, Gaslamp district and Petco Park. Plenty to do and see within walking distance. Lots of food choices around the hotel. Breakfast was perfect to feed my hungry kids but was not the best hotel breakfast I've had compared to other Embassy suites. Though it was smoothly ran.
