Everything was just fine!

The Fountain Motel was literally 1 block from the ocean. It was very neat and very clean...especially as it is a " retro" motel....probably built in the 60's? (They still use a key, LOL.) The pool was heated; the manager was great...gave me all sorts of information. The Wifi worked well, and the manager had spent a lot of time decorating for Halloween. There was maid service every day, even though I didn't need it. I was happy that the room had a small fridge ( with a tiny freezer to keep my ice packs frozen) and a microwave, to reheat leftovers. There is 1 parking spot per room. The motel is within walking distance to some breakfast places. I would definitely come back to this motel. JG.

The only thing is the rooms are little small but we were 2 adults and 2 children but we really only there to sleep.

Was very clean and comfortable. Very close to the beginning of the boardwalk in front of convention center. It's the very beginning of boardwalk on wildwood crest end. Beach is right there also. Pool was very clean too. The price was on the lower end so the value was great because when your there for beach and boardwalk and to take in other activities how much time are you really spending they're?

The Fountain Motel is a family operated facility. Tony, his wife & his daughter Julie are on site, easily accessible, friendly and helpful with any questions or conversation. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. My younger son and I had a great time in the pool, which was clean and well maintained. We met up with another family in the pool who also enjoyed their stay. The motel is in a good location, easy to walk to everything you need.

We loved the location of the Fountain Motel. It's near the Bus Terminal and several dollar stores. We loved the cleanliness of the room we stayed in.

My wife and I enjoyed the room we stayed in as well as the location. We appreciated how close the motel is near to the beach and boardwalk. We also enjoyed shopping at the local stores near the Fountain Motel.

The ancient carpet in the room was a tiny bit musty (totally expected and well within forgivable parameters in a shore town prone to storms and flooding). My husband found the shower/bathroom in our unit a little small for him. He's a big guy and super fussy about such things though, so that's on him. He also has some germ phobia that inhibits his ability to differentiate between things being actually dirty vs simply being a bit old. The bathroom was PERFECTLY CLEAN, it was just a little bit old. That said, this hotel does seem to be on a progressive campaign of refurbishments and updates. Part of this campaign looks to include the removal of carpets in favor of tile flooring. There are also larger rooms than ours that seem to have more full sized bathrooms, that are more updated/refurbished.

Clean. Comfortable. Excellent value for rates paid. Little gas range, microwave, and mini fridge kitchen unit with kitchen sink. Little outdoor patio area with table, chairs, and umbrella. Perfect central location to pretty much anywhere you could ever want to go in town. Kind friendly staff. The air conditioning is ferocious; I needed a sweatshirt to sleep in. Yes you have control. Yes I could have turned it down a bit, but the husband is severely heat intolerant and likes to freeze. Luckily I enjoy bundling up to sleep. There is a small pool, great for lounging in and keeping cool/for kids to play in with a sizeable kiddie pool deep shallow end. *Note: If you like to swim for exercise, you'll need to take yourself down the street to the ocean for that.

Great stay for the money. The room was clean, staff was great at check in and helpful when our fridge wasn’t on. It was nice to have a pool AND be only 2 blocks from the beach! It’s not fancy, but it is a clean, comfy stay for a good price. I would stay here again.
