Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Light was broken on arrival, we informed the staff but got charged for it anyway. Staff was also on strike during our stay.

They held a total of $350 it was just stated that management requires it, but the guest behind us said they only had a hundred deposit. It seemed racist. The best room was not the best room. Towels were not clean. Messed up Brand Name by being so limited and uncaring about health. No AC in room.
No hot water. It was not shared with us at check in nor was there any flyer until this AM when I checked out.

Rooms are basic and dated but comfortable and adequate.
Loved the free airport shuttle. Even though we were too early to check into our room, the lobby is well set up to loiter and there were several groups taking advantage of this.

Location is fine, close to the airport. Liquor store close by was a bonus. Carpets are old and dingy. I had an inside room and no air conditioning. TV was on its last legs, kept scrambling the screen. I didn't have the breakfast, pricy for 1. You should have a small option for singles who don't eat much. Service was lovely.

Late night food options were not great. had to get food from the conveninence store...then had to eat the ramen with a toothbrush cause there was no silverware

My room does not have an iron, the water from the sink barely came out. Very expensive for what it offers, I would not recommend it to anyone

The hotel hallways were very dirty looking dingy and there was hair in my tub. No hair dryer or lotion no cream for coffee and no stirs for the coffee. I actually didn’t feel safe.

Check-in is 15:00, not 13:00-14:00 like others. Earlier than 15:00 is USD $50+ No main light. Multiple lamps that need to be turned on/ off as you go No microwave No refrigerator
Has a shuttle to pick up and drop off at the airport- we had to walk from terminal 3 to terminal 5 to get the shuttle, but apparently there is a pick up point at all terminals Close to restaurants Comfortable beds Swimming pool and 24hr Fitness center

The room wasn't fully clean. The bathroom didn't have good water pressure or soap to wash your hands. There were papers on the floor from a previous guest.
The location was ideal and the shuttle service was a plus

Unpleasant smell in corridor. Protesters outside window disturbed sleep. Hotel shop was well stocked and convenient but expensive.
The staff were very friendly and attentive. Nice pool.

No hot water for shower. Room phone did not work. Handset totally unserviceable. Could not close curtain blind in window, too much light coming through at night making it difficult to sleep.

The hotel is old and the room too. Coffe machine was old and dirty. Telephone didn’t work. AC is very old. Furnitures were not clean.
Shutle bus from and to airport is the service I was looking for and they provide it. Beds are new clean and confortable. Toilet was clean too.

I was not informed that a city ordanance tax would be levied at checkin nor was I told that a $350 (refundable) security deposit was required at checkin
