Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaNot a great location — strip mall territory. Window AC unit was slightly unplugged so took some time to troubleshoot why the thermostat wasn’t working. $25 parking fee is ludicrous for suburban site. At least $25 extra Destination Charge is given back as a food and beverage credit.
Interior design was nice.

United States of AmericaDestination fee of $25/day PLUS mandatory $25/ day food and drink charge - makes you feel like you are being taken advantage of. And the destination? Right next to a strip mall...Oh, and $25/day for parking in an area that has plenty of parking. So, add $75 to the daily price of the room.
Lounge area was very nice.

United States of AmericaThe $75 deposit that I wasn't informed of until the moment of check-in was a frustrating moment. Especially since it still hasn't been deposited back into my account (5-7 days possibly). Unfortunately, we were on a budget and that $75 was going to be used towards a Lyft ride to and from the concert we attended. We had to take public busses to the show. But, after speaking with the hotel via text, Noah at the Freepoint sent a Lyft to pick us up. That was very much appreciated. I'm sure most people wouldn't be bothered by paying the $75 and getting by without until getting it back, but a few of us are on tight budgets from time to time. I just think the deposit should be included in the initial booking amount and not a surprise at the counter upon arrival.
The breakfast area had a sign that read "Breakfast $20 per person" and we were on a tight budget, so we didn't eat it.

United KingdomOnly complaint would be that at time of checking in there were two staff at reception, however despite a queue one member of staff did not break off what they were doing to serve customers. I appreciate it may have been important what they were doing, however in order to appear professional, assume there was a back office that they could have done this in, it would have given a better impression to customers
Room was spacious, advised on checking in we had booked a twin room, however both beds were double bed size so this wasn't an issue. Very clean modern bathroom with toiletries provided. Air con in room, additional pillows available in room. Convenient location for us and plenty of options to choose to eat nearby (walking distance). Also we travelled to and from the hotel by bus with no problem.

United States of AmericaThe online pictures of the room were a little bit deceiving. Although the room was clean and cozy, we thought the room and the bathroom were bigger. It was a nice room but not worth the price.
Clean and nice hotel.

United States of AmericaThis is literally the only hotel I've ever stayed in where you can EVERYTHING from the room above. The floors are made of cardboard. Try to get a room on the top floor.
Staff was very helpful and friendly, rooms are good size and there is a pool table in the bar!

South AfricaThe price I was charged was not the price I was quoted on bookings.com. Because of exchange rates, it was difficult for me to defend my position. Also, I'm not sure if there is a night club next door or what, but music went on late into the night and early into the next morning. Easily 4am.
Room is nice and enough, and spacious. The working space downstairs is amazing and has a nice thoroughfare to the Starbucks next door, which is convenient. Close to green belt running and cycling route. Shops nearby as well.

United States of AmericaI didn’t like that my room was not cleaned when we were 6 hours out since the morning, even with the sign out the door that said “Service please”. After we got in the room, the Service staff knock on our door to clean it at 2pm. Also the bathroom needs maintenance on the handles of the washbasin that had mold in it.
The location had a mini shopping beside it and walking distance to another one at front. Also, the room even had a clothing iron and good quality body wash and moisturizer products.

United States of AmericaThe room was very highly priced for what it was, it was nice but didn't reflect the cost in my opinion. My room was also an adjoining room to another guest and they were quite noisy pretty late at night, you could hear everything through the adjoining doors.
Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was good value for money.
