Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Tried to go to the restaurant but after waiting 15 minutes for a hostess we left even though they passed us and never said I’ll be right with you. The bathroom had wear and tear and the countertops were sticky so I had to clean them.
It was close to the polar express experience in Whippany.

Almost always encounter Parking Fees at Marriott. I will choose another hotel next time plus the room seemed small for the amount paid. No in-room microwave was another shortcoming.
Location was good and road traffic noise was minimal. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Room was clean and the shower was lux. Bed was comfortable and supportive.

Seemed crazy that you had to pay for parking when they have a massive parking lot and the hotel is kind of in the middle of nowhere.
The beds were comfy and the property was clean.

It would been nice to have more than one chair to sit in.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The gym was great-- well stocked with towels and water. The breakfast area had a great assortment of food and beverages.

I was unaware they charged to park their which is a first for me. The breakfast buffet was overpriced for a very limited selection and the food was not very good. Definitely better off eating out instead.

That the 2 other restaurants that used to be there ate now closed. The pool was closed when i was there. I used to love to stay here but with the way it is now in not so sure

Hair in two meals. Not a strain it was a wad of hair. 16 year olds sitting at bar. When the manager was told they brushed it off and called the cops on my husband saying he was creating a scene. Was going to go eat in the restraunt last day there and was intentionally bumped by the Irish guy that works in there. No apology or anything bad attitude. Left Xbox controller and was told they would call me back to let me know if it was there and I've heard nothing. Got a 75.00 wine card but it wasn't not mentioned that the wine bar wouldn't be opened on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. So we are left with 50.00 that can't be used.

The Floor was so dirty that my son feet where so black it was nasty. Like the flop had not been mopped since I don’t know when. There was dirt in the the bathroom floor. There was hair in on the bed. The bar and it manger’s where not professional at all one of the bartenders was very unprofessional.

The Lounge wasn't open on the weekend; so no free food. I had to buy breakfast in the cafe. A plate of eggs for $20 is a little high. Need a floor map for conventions.
The elevators were fast. Everything was clean. Staff was helpful and friendly.

No gym / fitness centre. Not noted on booking.com when I booked. Shower curtain riddled with mildew. Mediocre breakfast, poor coffee.

The only restaurant is a pub, and is very dark inside. Front desk staff were not very friendly or helpful.

Everything was perfect...every employee I had contact with was polite and helpful .....they offered us an area that all of our extended family could use to gather for a whole afternoon and evening. I was very pleased with my entire stay there.

Water squealing noise in the room all night. Something in the wall or adjoining room showers squeals. All night. All freaking night. Please make it stop. Check your rooms for this.
